Boy Told To Wear A Skirt

A 12-year-old lad was placed in isolation for wearing shorts to school during the sweltering heatwave.

Archie Thompson was told by staff at Fullhurst Community College, in Braunstone, Leicester, he could don a skirt instead.

 I can understand his mother's indignation:

"I was outraged at that comment to be honest," she admitted. "He can wear a skirt but he's not allowed to wear shorts.

 Yet isn't there a whiff of hypocrisy:

"He's a boy, he doesn't want to wear a skirt...He identifies as a male..."

If skirts/dresses are distinctly female clothes which aren't suitable for boys/males to wear, while pants and shorts are for men, then why most Western women wear them and not dresses? 

The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God.

This cross-dressing didn't start in the current year, if you know what I mean. We just decided one day that the rules didn't apply to women the same way they applied to men. Present day progressives just take the equality idea to its logical end...

No More Mister Nice Guy

This is why Deltas so often lose in situations they could easily win, as they make no effort to understand or anticipate their opposition, but are more concerned about being seen to be doing the right thing. Howeve, the last thing a woman who is ending her marriage in search of fun and freedom wants is to be tied down full-time by her children, with even less time for fun and games than she had when she was married.

I should add that men have a natural advantage over women, even in our feminised and increasingly misandric society. However, they are constantly shamed by basically everyone around them into not using it. It worked with Baby Boomers and is one of the reasons the 1960s feminists were so successful: because of the rather misplaced chivalry of the men of that generation.

However, there is literally zero reason to be chivalrous in a situation which the linked blog post describes. Sometimes you need to go for the jugular...

How To Get Men Into Church

The henpecked husband, for example, increasingly retreats into work and hobbies to minimize dealings with his wife. It would be silly to think the same kind of dynamic wouldn’t happen in our congregations...

The first step is to recognize and repent of our fear. Like most Americans, American Christians are absolutely terrified of being labeled misogynist...

Alas for them: popular culture judges anything contrary to feminism as misogynistic, and the Bible is by no means a feminist book.

So Christians “defend” the Bible by placarding a few passages that sound maybe-sort-of feminist (e.g. “Deborah!” “In Christ there is no male and female!”), while ignoring and even obfuscating all the passages that cannot possibly be reconciled with feminist philosophy (“Wives submit to your husbands as to the Lord.” “I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man”).

If we try to overcompensate in this fashion even on Scripture, how much more do we do so regarding the men in our midst?

The Law On Single Moms

 Modern churches shame Christian men for not wishing to marry single moms:

So without further ado, here are the theological errors in his three reasons he thinks “Christian men should pursue Christian single moms for marriage.”

“1. Single Christian moms are as pure as the sinless Son of God, which is more than you deserve in a wife.”

Here, Parkison confuses righteousness coram deo (before God) with righteousness coram mundo (before the world.)  Before God, single Christian moms are indeed pure due to the imputed righteousness of Christ, which he mentions several times in the piece. But in this very same sentence, he judges Christian men coram mundo when he indicates that they don’t deserve such a wife.  After all, coram deo, Christian men are likewise pure & perfect. Accordingly, they truly deserve a spotless bride just as much as Jesus Christ does. In other words, Parkison is making an apples-to-oranges comparison here.

Such attitude to single moms being perfection itself is rather new. I'd like to give you an example of how the law and custom used to treat single moms somewhere about 100 years ago in my country. 

First, there were no "single moms". You had widows, which were respected, divorced women and unwed mothers of bastards illegitimate kids. Those groups were all treated differently. I'm not sure how the law treated the rights of a divorced mother before WWII. After the war, they usually got the custody but the divorce itself was considered something extremely shameful and their choice of prospective marriage partners was rather slim.

Poor widows were to be provided for by their male relatives, usually brothers. Since a woman was not considered responsible enough to raise a child on her own, the law made her brother the guardian of the child and any decision, such as education had to be approved by him. As you can understand, many men were very resentful at the idea of having to support both his own family and that of his sister. I heard stories about some relatives where the lady was left a widow with 6 or 7 children and her brother made such a deal out of it that she swore to marry the 1st man who would take her. She then married a widower with 6 kids of his own (all boys while hers were all girls).

Even though he had married her so that she could take care of his kids, he again resented very much the necessity of providing for the kids of another man and promptly kicked her daughters out of the house by the 1st opportunity so that they had to enter domestic service (there was little opportunity of other employment).

I also read that in some places widows were provided for by the community but had to take care of the orphans in return. 

And what about the real "single moms", the euphemism invented for the one reason only, to take away the stigma?

A woman who produced an illegitimate kid was obviously deemed unfit to raise him herself. If the family were poor the child was taken away and placed in an orphanage. The mother then had to work, and pay out of her wages for the upkeep for her bastard. She was allowed to visit him from time to time. If she married (and yes, it did happen even back then), she had to quit her employment (married women couldn't work, of course), so it was up to her husband to pay for it. The child still stayed in an orphanage though.

Again, I heard stories of a distant relative somewhere in the 1920 or thereabout who always claimed that her pregnancy was the result of r8pe (though the man was never prosecuted) yet it didn't help her. She later married and her husband kept paying to the orphanage. Germany, btw, had similar laws about male guardians, and they were abolished only somewhere in the 1980s from what I heard.

So that was the law and tradition about single moms back then. I'm not implying we should go back to it, just providing the info:)

Why Is Modesty Important?

 Or rather is it at all? Sorry for the lack of effort-posting but we are in the middle of a heatwave right now. Yesterday my resolve broke down and I switched airco on for several hours, which cost me 4extra kwh. I'm still holding out as of now but probably, not for a long time:) And my husband is working shorter hours this week. Still, here it comes: hot weather always brings with it the issue of modesty, so I'm going to write a couple of thoughts on the matter. Please don't throw stones as I feel like I'm melting right now - it's close to +30*C in my bedroom where I'm typing this. 

Why is modesty important? Or is it really? Many Christian (and all Islamic) authors approach this topic from the angle of immodest women provoking male passions. To this feminists scornfully reply that it's up to men to control themselves and how it only proves that men are pigs. Since most Western women, even Christians, are feminists at least to a degree they support this position and act accordingly.

Another argument is much less known, but I saw it put forward by some fundie Christians and others: immodesty hurts women first of all. Apparently, they believe and teach that when a woman wear pants and/or short/tight skirts and dresses instead of long flowing garments it can affect her fertility to the point of making her infertile and/or cause specific female problems. Those who are into energy healing and this kind of stuff may add that wearing long flowing skirts and dresses allow the woman to draw the energy of Earth or something to the point. Those who are more scientifically minded speak about hormone disbalance.

There is also a more sophisticated version of this argument. It goes like this: men and women exchange s8xual energy which ideally, should happen withing marriage where both get something out of the arrangement. When a woman goes around scantily dressed, she allows strange men to use this energy without giving anything back, while other women will get envious and take some of it, too. As a result, her female energy is depleted which leads to health and other problems. I know it sound heathenish but bear with me:)

Thus we have 2 arguments representing the dangers of immodesty from a male and a female point of view, but what if there is more to this issue? And here I'm going to write about a theory of mine. Please keep in mind it's just that, a theory.  

What if the society as a whole is  affected by female immodesty? You see, there is this Nephilim story from both the OT and the Apocripha about fallen angels lusting after mortal women and taking them as wives, which presumably, was one of the causes of the Flood? We then have the text from the Corinthians telling women to cover themselves (their head/hair) "because of the Angels". While it's commonly understood that if  such unnatural unions ever took place, it's impossible now, the last text at least hints that female beauty somehow has a certain type of influence. 

So it could very well be that half-dressed and sometimes nearly naked females which we all daily encounter basically everywhere, draw the certain kind of supernatural beings to them which then produce a nefarious influence  on the world around them. And if we look around, there appears at least some truth to the statement. So here is food for thought: cover yourself going outside because you never know who may be looking.

Sovereign citizens are a loose collection of individuals who believe they can evade the authority of the police by claiming exemption from the legal code. 

There is no central text explaining the sovereign citizen ideology, but one branch holds that America's first governing document, the Articles of Confederation, was never legally dissolved, meaning that those who claim “sovereign citizenship” are not subject to the law as currently enforced under the Constitution. Though it has never stopped a single arrest, devotees of this doctrine will confidently state their case as they resist detainment, treating the legal assertion as magic spell meant to halt a police officer in his tracks. While delusional people attempting to argue their way out of an arrest can create a hilarious spectacle, the phenomenon can also teach an important lesson about placing one’s faith in a document that no longer has the authority to restrict power...

The current American conservative has an uncomfortable amount in common with the sovereign citizen crowd. The conservative remembers and cherishes the freedoms that were enshrined in the original constitution and believes that their presence in that founding text should defend those rights in perpetuity. Unfortunately, those rights were not vigorously defended by previous generations, and the document that was supposed to protect them has been subordinated to a new order with its own priorities. Conservatives will impotently recite sections of the Bill of Rights to government officials who care about nothing but the power to advance their own agenda...

 If those on the right want to see the freedoms returned, they will need to fight for every inch. Not just in the sphere of law and politics, but in every aspect of culture, religion, and education...

Will Evangelical Church Drift To The Right?

 It was the elite evangelical response to COVID that finally destroyed their credibility. It solidified the already widespread suspicion that their role in society is to provide a theological veneer to regime narratives. They exhibited naĂŻve trust in and absurd deference to institutions and the “experts” who openly lied and laughed off charges of tyranny as they closed playgrounds and schools, dumped sand in skate parks, locked people in their homes, and insisted that loved ones die alone. One notable pastor-theologian, Jonathan Leeman, authored several articles against churches that defied COVID restrictions, including against MacArthur’s church. In the height of the pandemic and while his church was forbidden from meeting, Leeman (being very on-brand) attended a crowded BLM protest, even inviting his church to join him...

It is now plain to everyone that the obsequiousness of the evangelical elite to their hostile secularist counterparts is harmful to the country, to churches, and to the advance of the Gospel. The evangelical elite know that they are in decline.

The energy in American evangelicalism is now on the Christian right, who have become emboldened in their efforts to return America to its heritage of faith. They affirm the goodness of Christian nations, an assertive Christian politics, and the predominate heritage of faith in American history. For them, Christian politics is not loser theology, nor meant only to carve out a safe existence for churches. The goal is the complete re-Christianization of civil society, institutions, and government.

Criminalisation Of Heteros8xuality

 Migrants r8pe women - I sleep. Lewd acts committed in the streets - I sleep. Children are exposed to explicitly s8xual material - I sleep. A grown up man kisses a grown up woman without getting a license first? Off with his head!!!

The head of the Spanish soccer federation faces possible prosecution for kissing a star player on the lips following Spain's World Cup victory amid increasing pressure for him to resign...

 Spanish prosecutors opened a criminal investigation on Aug. 29 into whether the kiss was an act of sexual assault. 

Some things to keep in mind. First, the woman herself only started objecting after a feminist outcry:

She then initially downplayed it in a statement, saying it was a "mutual gesture that was totally spontaneous" and "a natural expression of affection and gratitude."

However, she now says she was pressured into making that statement and sees the incident completely differently.

"At no time did I consent to the kiss that he gave me," she said.

She added in a statement that she “felt vulnerable and the victim of aggression, an impulsive, sexist act which was out of place and with no consent on my behalf," according to ESPN

Second, unlike in the more enlightened countries such as the US, his family are standing by him:

Rubiales' family is defending him against the backlash to the point where his mother has locked herself in a church and gone on a hunger strike, according to his cousin. 

Third, he correctly refused to " do the right thing and resign":

The Spanish soccer federation demanded that he "immediately resign" because of “the latest events and the unacceptable behaviors that have seriously damaged the image of Spanish football," according to a news release in Spanish. 

Initially, they supported him, btw:

The Royal Spanish Football Federation withdrew its support of Rubiales after an emergency meeting on Monday night after having initially backed him when FIFA announced it was investigating the kiss

So I wonder who is it  really demanding his blood? 

If they fire him, which they'll probably do he should sue them for the wrongful termination and do the same with his accuser. There is a lesson in this all: whatever happens, don't go into this night gently.

More Boomer Hate

 from the usual suspect, or rather his wife, on Gab, where she references this article from Daily Mail as the proof that Boomers neglect their own grandchildren. The article, btw, isn't about older people demanding salaries, but rather about an estimation of the costs of the free childcare they provide by some insurance company, but that's not the point.

What I find really bizarre is that people who are supposedly for traditional family apparently believe raising children is now the duty of their grandparents and not their parents. The truth is that in the times past, grandparents only babysat occasionally and expected their daughters or daughters-in law to quit working and raise their offspring themselves, and not so long ago, either. It's not Grandma's duty to babysit while her daughter is out there in the office being a career woman.

In fact, in really traditional societies it's vice versa: the adult children have a duty to look after their  parents in their old age, the elderly folks don't have a duty to babysit, clean the house and cook for free (which yes, many are doing) while their entitled adult kids enjoy their 2 income life style. There was time in my country when money was taken out of the adult sons' salaries every month to support their aged parents back then when we were traditional.

In my opinion, most internet personalities promoting "return to tradition" wouldn't like it a bit to live in a really traditional culture.

Modern Church And Marital Submission

This is a good post. So often I have read where supposedly conservative people have insisted that this state of affairs (feminism)  is a natural result of technology. No. They are a result of progressive values. Technology and conservatism can coexist.

And...should someone point out as you have here, that there are cultures where traditional family values and sexual mores have managed to endure, they'll quickly point out that those are "oppressive regimes".

Anything that calls for self-control, libido restraint, and godly order is called "oppressive".

The comment stands on its own but I'd just like to add that too many  modern "conservative" churches will preach wifely submission and then turn around and state that it's "a gift" which should be "given freely" and if the husband tries to demand/enforce it in any way, it's oppressive/abusive. 

When you think about it logically, it doesn't make any sense. Either the husband has the authority over his wife and children or he doesn't. If he does have it, then he should have the right/means to enforce it, the way it used to be in the West before they rewrote the laws. Parental authority got curtailed, too, but it still exists legally and morally speaking. 

Just to demonstrate the absurdity of this line of thinking, imagine we'd have the same system in the army or really any work place with more than one employee. Your boss is supposed to be a "servant'-leader" and "win the hearts and minds" of his employees (or the officer of his soldiers) but it's up to them whether they follow his orders/instructions and he has no means to enforce his authority in any way, nor fire them, and is in fact, criticised and accused of abuse if he even tries.

Just how well would such an organisation function and how long would it even exist? Could an army unit perform its tasks properly? And yet, it's exactly what modern church leaders tell husbands to do and then scold them when things go wrong and say they'd do better if only they were "better leaders". Most of the Western churches openly pander to women, and the conservatives are sometimes worse than liberals in this respect since the liberals at least aren't hypocritical and openly state they believe in equality.

Conservatives and churchians, on the other hand, will often admit that women are "different" and that men are supposed to be leaders, but will decry any attempt to lead as oppression yet have no problem blaming the husband for his wife's sins. Your wife committed adultery? It's your fault, you should have been a better leader. She even murdered your children? Again, it's your fault, you should have led better. They deny women any accountability the way they do with a three year old child, but somehow insist that they be given full adult rights, political and otherwise, and Heaven forbid the husband try in any way to enforce the rules. 

Of course, you could say in their defence, that they are afraid to speak up due to the current political climate, since feminism is pretty much the dogma at this point, and yet many aren't afraid to attack abortion which is also sacred for liberals or even criticise alphabet stuff which is pretty much akin to blasphemy nowadays. So what's their problem?

(For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)

How Shacking Up Causes Divorce

 It's that simple really. Consider the way people used to marry before the s8xual revolution. For a man of a good standing in society it went on like this: he meets a girl, usually while visiting family or through friends, or it could be a neighbour's daughter. They spend some time getting acquainted with each other. Then they start courting, meet each other's family and learn each other's antecedents.

 They mostly belong to the same social class and know what sort of behaviour is considered acceptable in their circles and what to expect. After they marry, they assume clearly defined roles: the husband is the head of the family, the protector and the provider, the woman is the wife, mother and homemaker. If she had not been married before, she is expected to be a virgin before the wedding and keep chastity after, and not to leave her husband under the punishment of divorce which is considered a dishonour to her and her family. He also can divorce her if she refuses him his "marital rights".

The way people marry nowadays is quite different. It mostly goes like this: boy meets girl somewhere in a night club where they both get drunk and end up in bed with each other. Next morning they get acquainted and if the s8x was good decide to have another date. Eventually they move together and after a certain time, depending on her age, the girl gets a case of what some call "baby rabies" and "forgets" to take the pill one day. Pregnancy ensues. If they have middle class pretensions they'll marry before the child is born, but marry they will. 

After the first excitement is over, they both realise that their past life is gone and that children actually need constant attention and don't raise themselves so they can't just drop them somewhere and go get plastered with their friends. It's probably the 1st time they will try their hand at housekeeping, either, with little success because none of them were taught it. Neither is good with finances and there is also some debt.  The guy is probably a lousy breadwinner and his wife could't cook to save her life and tries to boss him around and make him do most of childcare, too. He knew she was bossy before but put up with it because s8x was good but now she has no interest in it any more. 

Add to this that our culture views divorce as empowerment instead of something shameful and you know the rest.

So which one of these models leads to a stable family and which one to the divorce court. You decide!

Feminism And Technology

 I'm really tired of hearing how the situation we are in is the inevitable result of modern technology. Of course, inventions like the pill made certain aspects of feminism such as promiscuity easier to sell to the masses. However, the same technology exists in Mid-Eastern countries and guess what? No feminism there. So what's the difference?

The real difference is the laws and to a certain extent, the culture. We don't need to go back to subsistence farming to change society, changing laws would be enough. I'll give you one example: Turkey. Turkey is quite modern. It's a NATO country. It is a republic with the constitution, the parliament, the president, regular elections and women voting. Women can go to a university there and even serve in the army. Their movie industry has been promoting "strong independent womyn" trope for years now. There are no punishments for extramarital s8x and even prostitution and abortion is allowed.

And yet, the amount of women working/being single mothers/living together unmarried/running around half naked causing trouble and general societal dysfunction is quite low compared to the West. If you watched the Tasnim housewife channel I previously linked to, the lady (who is a Syrian refugee living in Istanbul) shows her daughter's primary school in one of her recent videos. The daughter just finished the 1st grade and wanted to be filmed together with her teacher. The teacher, you won't believe it, was a young man! There is a Utube channel of a Turkish vet and his assistant, you guessed it, is a man!

Those are just two examples of professions which in my country are nearly totally taken over by women. I even heard about some girls quitting the jobs as school teachers to get married to be told that they are shirking their duties since nobody would be left to educate the children if the women quit. Well, apparently the Turkish don't have a problem with filling these positions with someone who won't ever take a maternity leave, go work part-time or decide to quit altogether after a couple of years.

Keep in mind that she lives in Istanbul, a liberal city with many more women working than say somewhere in the country. 

So how comes? It's really that simple. Turkish laws prohibit married women from working without an official permission from their husbands. And the culture tells the same husband that unless they are really poor (or liberal) he is a loser if he allows his wife to work outside home possibly mingling with strange men. The same culture tells him that divorce is bad and socialises girls to be proud of their homemaking skills. It also emphasises chastity and family honour, the concept which we used to have in the West but lost somewhere after WWII. 

This culture is based on Islam. Unlike modern Western Christianity, Islam never really compromised on women's rights, or at least, not to the same degree. Take headcoverings, for instance. Most women nowadays, even in the most "conservative" churches will refuse to wear one. Turkey being secular, doesn't require women to cover themselves in public the way Iran does, e.g. 

So some do and some don't. But if they attend some religious ceremony, they all will wear one because their religion demands it. Western religious leaders, on the other hand, will go out of their way not to offend modern women's sensibilities with such words as "modesty" or "submission" and spend a considerable amount of time explaining away "difficult" Bible passages or just ignore them altogether. 

The result is that Turkey is still overwhelmingly Muslim and traditional while in the West, Christianity is dying out. 

We don't need to go back to living on a farm in the middle of nowhere (which never really happened in Western Europe anyway since people lived in villages), we just need a political action to change the laws and the religious traditional revival. Unfortunately, it's impossible right now since the change in society always comes from men, and at least 50% of modern Western men are quite fine with equality by one or other reason. Blaming women for all of society's ills makes little sense since it's men who are the guardians of any given society and many prefer it the way it is.

And I do mean the recent screeds of VD about Boomers. Calling them the most wicked generation in the whole human history is a bit excessive, not?

In fact, I have a feeling that he is going the path of Roosh rather quickly as most of his posts nowadays are about various conspiracy theories.

Matriarchy Strikes Again

 In the wilderness it's the survival of the fittest:

 The mummified remains of Christine Vance, 41, Rebecca 'Becky' Vance, 42, and Rebecca's 14-year-old son, were found earlier this month about 1,000 feet from a campsite in the Gunnison National Forest in Colorado.

Last summer, Rebecca convinced her sister to leave her life in Colorado Springs behind and move to the wilderness with her and her son - despite having little to none survival skills, their stepsister Trevala Jara told The New York Post...

Jara, 39. said she and her husband begged her stepsisters to abandon their plan, but Becky refused. Without any preparation aside from YouTube videos on survival, the trio left in early August of 2022, with Becky refusing to say where they were headed...

Gunnison County Coroner Michael Barnes said the bodies, two of which were found inside the tent and one outside, showed signs of malnourishment and decomposed and partially mummified...

  At the campsite alongside the bodies were empty food cans, books and a restroom area, Barnes said. The only food found at their shelter was a single package of ramen.

 I guess the fish do need a bicycle after all. Pity for her son, he didn't have a chance.

Researchers from Brigham and Women's Hospital, a founding member of the Mass General Brigham healthcare system, published a study titled "Sugar-Sweetened and Artificially Sweetened Beverages and Risk of Liver Cancer and Chronic Liver Disease Mortality" in the Journal of the American Medical Association on Tuesday, explaining a possible link between the regular consumption of sweetened drinks and death due to liver cancer. The study involved nearly 100,000 postmenopausal women followed for a median of twenty years. 

The study's lead authors, Dr. Longgang Zhao, Ph.D., a postdoctoral fellow at Brigham and Women's Hospital, and Xuehong Zhang, ScD, associate professor at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women's Hospital, revealed participants who consumed sugar-sweetened beverages daily had a chronic liver disease mortality rate of 17.7 per 100,000 person-years. In contrast, this rate decreased to 7.1 for individuals who consumed such drinks three times or less monthly. No significant cancer risk was observed for artificially sweetened beverages.

Trump Indicted

Former President Donald Trump was hit with federal criminal charges over his attempts to cling to power after losing the 2020 election, with a grand jury indictment accusing him of spreading 'lies' and 'sham' investigations while stoking an 'angry' mob on January 6. 

Trump is facing four counts including conspiracy to defraud the U.S. government and obstruct the electoral count for trying to overturn the 2020 election. The 45-page indictment says he was 'determined to remain in power' despite 'having lost.'

 I have two questions after reading this. First, is he going to prison? And second, do (some) Boomers still think that he is secretly in charge?

Easy Ice Cream Recipe

 

I'll admit it's not my invention. I actually saw it on a vegan UTube channel and since I'm not a vegan, I adjusted it to include dairy.

It takes you about 3 minutes to make it. The equipment you need is a blender/mixer and a freezer. Plus 3 basic ingredients: bananas, (frozen) mixed berries and plain cream cheese. 

Peel the bananas, cut them in pieces and place in the freezer for several hours. (I used 2 big bananas for 4 portions). Take as many as you need, put into a blender, add enough frozen berries of any kind, then cream cheese to taste and blend till it looks like in the picture or to a desired consistency. You can also blend/mix them in steps, 1st bananas, then adding berries and finally cream. I tried it both ways and found mixing them all together easier but it's just me.

You'll get some soft ice cream so eat immediately. It has no added sugar and just as much fat as you yourself desire, depending on how much cream cheese you use. 1-2 tsp per portion was enough for me, just to make it thicker and creamier. Of course, you can also add jam or decorate it with fresh berries or whatever you wish actually.

There Is No Secret Ingredient

 which makes you fat. It's not the government conspiracy, either. Just a simple case of calories in - calories out combined with decline in home cooking:

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) reports that the average American ate almost 20% more calories in the year 2000 than they did in 1983, thanks, in part, to a boom in meat consumption. Today, each American puts away an average of 195lbs of meat every year, compared to just 138lbs in the 1950's. Consumption of added fats also shot up by around two thirds over the same period, and grain consumption rose 45% since 1970...

Other research suggests Americans burn 120 to 140 fewer calories a day than they did 50 years ago. Add this to the higher amount of calories we are packing in, and we get a perfect recipe for weight gain...

 Over the past years, diet fads have come and gone, with people rushing to blame red meat, dairy, wheat, fat, sugar, etc. for making them fat, but in reality, the problem is much simpler. Genetics and age do strongly influence metabolism, but as the CDC points out, weight gain and loss is primarily a formula of total calories consumed versus total calories used.

Is Psychology A Scam?

So I read a transcript of a video by a lady psychologist. I say 'read' because I had no time to listen to this drivel:)

I learned the following: all children are born absolutely innocent, in a "blank slate" state. Whatever wrong things they may do throughout their life is always their parents' fault and never their own.

Parents traumatise their children by saying "no" to them. If you say "no" to your child, unless his life is in danger or he puts someone else's life in danger, then he later will need years of therapy to undo the harm. You should basically allow him to do whatever he wants.

When your small child is doing things like throwing the earth out of the flower pots together with plants or keeps eating dog food or displays any similar behaviour you shouldn't try to correct it. It's perfectly normal at his age and will traumatise him if you do. Instead, child-proof your home by getting rid of all these things.

Your child is financially dependent on you and it's unfair and unequal. Thus, you should buy him whatever he wants whenever he wants it, especially toys and other kinds of presents, otherwise he'll be traumatised for life and will need years of therapy.

If you ever raise your voice while speaking to your children...oh dear. Well, you get the point. I may have forgotten something but that basically sums her lecture up.

No wonder the family is so screwed nowadays...

Narnia Goes Woke

 Netflix's Next Target:Narnia

After seeing how Amazon demolished The Silmarillion and Disney pillaged both Indiana Jones and Star Wars, Netflix has decided to join the fun by defacing The Chronicles of Narnia.

Netflix has the rights to make Chronicles of Narnia movies now, and it has chosen actor and director Greta Gerwig to make said movies. I’m not joking. Netflix wants her to write and direct two Narnia films.

 I watched  two first original Narnia movies. The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe is quite decent. Prince Caspian, on the other hand, is full of grrrl power so I stopped watching after it. Not sure how many were really made, I think three. I can only imagine how bad the new version will be. Yet I bet there still will be many who will watch it, including Christians, while complaining how it's not really what they expected. The reason so-called conservatives keep losing is simple: they can't even sacrifice some mindless entertainment for the sake of their principles.

Alphas And Sl8ts

There are 2 things which come to mind. From a purely pragmatical point of view, most men and women nowadays, outside of strict religious communities, will marry someone with a s8xual history, it's just a fact of life. 

On the other hand, the idea that "the real Alpha male", (such as presumably D. Trump) wouldn't/shouldn't care even if he marries a total wh8re is, frankly, ridiculous and could only appear in our deprived society where "hotness" is the highest value and virtue is despised. 

It also says something about the character of the person who espouses this point of view. Notice the mockery of "trad" girls and the idea that men who don't want to marry promiscuous women are insecure.

Natural Remedies

 This specially for "magic mushrooms conservatives". 

Well, you know how nowadays we keep reading about all modern Western medicine being some sort of an elaborate conspiracy to keep everyone sick and how natural methods are the best. So some time ago I got a cold. It became better but I was stupid enough to spend like the whole day walking in the rain with wet shoes on so it became worse again and I got a sore throat  which nearly always gives me a fever.

I could take paracetamol but somehow I decided that may be I shouldn't take all these unnatural pills from the medical industrial complex and went and bought a natural spray made of Icelandic moss and propolis and some other stuff. I used it 2 days and my sore throat became better but then suddenly I got some sort of an allergic reaction/ swelling in my nose and left ear. It was really quite horrible especially considering it happened late in the evening.

The next day I went to a store and bought some medication for my nose (quite traditional this time) and it became better but I did develop a sinusitis and a cough and what not and it took me about a month to totally recover and then I had to use salt water nose drops and an anti-cough med (I took one for kids as it had no propolis in it).

Should have stuck with paracetamol instead.

To All The Conspiracy Theorists Out There

The prognosis is harsh but clear: either selection for competence will return or America will experience devolution to more primitive forms of civilization and loss of geopolitical power.

Women Against "Women's Rights"

 Anti-feminist creator Pearl Davis doubled down on many of her most controversial views on the H3 podcast this week.

She told the host, YouTuber Ethan Klein, that she thinks divorce should be illegal and women shouldn't have the right to vote.

As Insider has reported, Pearl has become a high-profile voice over the past year, and represents a large and significant group who believe women have too many rights and men must be more assertive.

During her introduction, Davis said she believed women are happier as stay-at-home mothers, and that she thought feminism "overall is a bad thing."

And while about half are angry females, many divorced and old enough to start thinking about making peace with God instead of leaving vitriolic comments on the social media (I guess it's another reason younger folks dislike Boomers), the other half are liberal males which proves my point that many men support and embrace feminism. 

The reason for it is also obvious, "I'm so proud my wife earns so much and can buy all that stuff for me". Those types are terrified they'd once be made responsible for supporting their wives, and, oh horror, may be daughters, too.

Another interesting thing is how quickly "tolerant Left" resorts to insults including dreaded "slut-shaming and sexism" (the YouTuber is too ugly to marry, women who agree with her are trailer park sluts) and even racissssm (telling an Indian guy that his country is basically a backward 88ithole). Which tells you everything you should know about these people and their so-called "superior morals".

On Pregnant Bodies

 Yesterday I was looking for some info about female-related stuff online and discovered that an American mainstream medical site has now articles about "pregnant bodies" instead of pregnant women. Another mainstream site told me that there exist "male bodies, female bodies and inters8x bodies." 

It went nicely all the way from "mankind" to "human kind" and now you aren't even a human any more, apparently. Just  a "body". I came across this before on Twitter but I used to think it was only rabid leftists who use this type of word while referring to men and women, not supposedly respectable "medical professionals". 

What happened to human beings created in the image of God with mind and soul/spirit? This is the end result of liberalism I guess...

That's why your comments on older posts don't always appear on time, and I mean sometimes it can last like a year before I check it. It has nothing personally to do with you or the contents of your comment. In fact, today I checked my SPAM files and discovered that even my own comments, some as far as 2013 were somehow caught by spam filter. Now I'm not sure if they were doubles or something but have no desire to check because

it's 31*C outside and close to 30 in my bedroom where my computer stands. So it will be all for today:) I can promise to check these files more often, but whether it happens is a different matter entirely:)

World's Oldest Father And his S8x Life

 So presumably, the world's oldest father was this guy from India, who got his 2 sons at the age of 94 and 96, with his 49-52 year old wife.

He was a bachelor for more than 90 years of his life. Ramjit Raghav credited his success to his "healthy diet", which according to another article I read though vegetarian, included drinking lots of milk and eating ghee and almonds. 

He was especially proud that he can satisfy the needs of his wife:

‘I do it three or four times a night,’ he told reporters outside his home in Haryana, India. ‘My neighbours are jealous and they keep asking me for my secret but all I tell them is that it is God’s will.

‘I’m healthy and I enjoy sex with my wife. I think it’s very important for a husband and wife to have sex regularly and when she asks I will go on all night but for the sake of my child I’ve put our needs aside for now.

‘I care for my wife and I give her everything she needs. She is a very happy woman.’

As you can understand, British tabloids had a field day with this story.  The funny thing is that the accent is on him pleasing his wife with his performance, as in he's doing it for her, while in the West, and especially on American internet resources the common complaint is that women aren't interested and thus deprive their husbands. Marital s8x is apparently viewed as a chore and some Christian leaders even criticise men who bother their wives too much in this area. Men are told to help with household work, kids etc to "earn" their right to marital bed. 

I wonder if the roots of this rather unhealthy attitude go way back to the Victorian times when men were taught that their wives are all innocent s8xless doves who only tolerate "all this" for the joys of motherhood and men taint them with their animal passions? The rest of the world has no problems seeing women as s8xual beings though:)

Besides what Vox said, I can add this. It wouldn't be happening if Western men were liked they used to be say, even 50 years ago. In fact, in the vid you can see one fine specimen of Euro manhood running away, living screaming women with toddlers behind. But it's not all the fault of the men, either. That's the way they were raised by the feminist system and their mothers treating them like little dear snowflakes they are. Actions have consequences. When you figuratively and nowadays also literally speaking, put a dress on your little boy the chance is there will be no men left to defend you when the need arises...

A representative of Pacino confirmed this to TMZ on Tuesday after it was reported his girlfriend, Noor Alfallah, 29, was pregnant.

Pacino already has 22-year-old twins — Oliva and Anton James Pacino — with Hollywood actress Beverly D'Angelo, and a 33-year-old daughter — Julie Marie — with acting coach, Jan Tarrant.

The news comes weeks after his 79-year-old "The Godfather" co-star Robert De Niro announced the birth of his seventh child.

The Costs Of A Medical Career For A Woman

And she did: She graduated as high school valedictorian, attended an elite university and was accepted into a top medical school.
But one achievement eluded her: having a baby. She had postponed getting pregnant until she was solidly established in her career, but when she finally decided to try to have children, at 34, she was surprised to find that she could not, even with fertility drugs. Dr. Marshall attributed it to having worked frequent night shifts, as well as to stress and lack of sleep, which can affect reproductive cycles.

The Dogs Of War

 It took me quite some time but finally I'm so far as to write a book review, well, actually two of them, something which I have been planning to do for the last couple of months, lol! So here comes.

The 1st book is called The dogs of war by Frederick Forsyth, the author probably most known for The day of the jackal, a fictional story about an assassination attempt on President De Gaulle. I watched the movie version of it and reviewed it on this blog several years ago. Both books were written in the early 1970s which means that they are quite politically incorrect and would probably offend tender modern sensibilities.

The dogs of war is a story about a group of mercenaries which is hired by a wealthy and unscrupulous British businessman to organise a coup in a fictional African country with large resources of platinum. The main character is their leader Cat Shannon, a man of mixed Anglo-Irish heritage (who is blond, blue-eyed and very handsome and successful with women, btw). The novel is quite long (nearly 400 pages) and goes into great detail describing the preparations for the military operation and all the shadowy financial transactions taking place. 

Despite its length, it's not actually boring and I read it quite quickly. Speaking about "politically incorrect", it describes Cat's s8xual life perfectly. I won't go into it further due to the reasons of decency, but suffice to say, that while he is 33 or thereabout his girlfriend is 19, the fact which would make any feminist have a fit.

As the story keeps developing, the reader gets a strong feeling of the impending doom, which is already hinted at on the very first page by the epigraph chosen by the author, a somewhat altered quote from The Mayor of Casterbridge by T. Hardy:

That... be not told of my death, 

Or made to grieve on account of me,

And that I be not buried in consecrated ground,

 And that no sexton be asked to toll the bell,

And that nobody is wished to see my dead body,

And that no mourners walk behind me at my funeral,

 And that no flowers be planted on my grave,

 And that no man remember me,

To this I put my name.

And yet, the end was totally unexpected to me, and a somewhat of a shock. I won't add any spoilers because I hope that you read this book for yourself.

Book n2 is what one could call vintage as it was written nearly 100 years ago, in 1928 by Nevil Chute, an author totally unknown to me before, but when I did some research I found out that he was actually quite famous in his time and even wrote Hollywood scenarios.

 It's called in English So Disdained and it's a fictional espionage story presented in a way to make you think it really happened. It has not one main character, but two. The narrator Peter Moran, who currently works as the steward of Lord Arner and Maurice Lenden, a pilot. Lenden and Moran served together in WWI and meet again 10 years later under strange circumstances. 

Moran learns that Lenden had great difficulty adjusting to peaceful life after the war was over, due to the fact that flying is his passion but there are not enough job opportunities. After his marriage falls apart due to his inability to earn a stable income, Lenden travels to the USSR and starts working as a flight instructor but later gets involved in an espionage affair. After he tells his life story to Peter Moran he gets a malaria attack (he caught malaria while working in South America) and is very sick and in need of help.

Though the story is called So Disdained I haven't noticed anything like this in the novel at all. In fact, it's totally vice versa. Peter Moran and everyone around him take a sudden and unexplained liking to Maurice and try their best to help him, save him from the counterespionage service and the communists even to the point of risking their own career and life. 

The novel is short and fast-paced and leaves you in suspense till the very end. And yet, the end, again, is quite predictable when you contemplate the fact that it was written back in the day when honour was not an empty word and any stain on it could only be erased by blood. 

I'm not sure whether you can easily find this book (I happened upon it in a second hand store) but I highly recommend it to anyone.

News On Sugar

It used to be that you were recommended to eat no more than 50g added sugar per day, but now the amount is reduced to about half of it, in any case for women. Sugar appears to be really not that great for you after all:

To keep all of this in perspective, it’s helpful to remember the American Heart Association’s recommendations for sugar intake.

  • Men should consume no more than 9 teaspoons (36 grams or 150 calories) of added sugar per day.
  • For women, the number is lower: 6 teaspoons (25 grams or 100 calories) per day. Consider that one 12-ounce can of soda contains 8 teaspoons (32 grams) of added sugar!  There goes your whole day’s allotment in one slurp.

Lawful authorities – and one must keep in mind this does not mean all claimants to authority – just are God’s means to execute His vengeance. Rulers, both Christian and non, are ministers of God’s wrath to punish evil.

If a Christian believes Romans 12 prohibits Christians from ever carrying out vengeance, Romans 13 would thus prohibit any Christian from ever working in civil authority – from being a ruler to a lesser magistrate to a soldier to even a police officer. Few Christians, outside a few cults and tiny sects, actually believes this, and it wasn’t an historical belief among Christians. 

That has been the traditional understanding of these passages for like nearly 2 thousands years until we got liberal Christianity which, imo, has its roots both in the spirit of this age and in unnatural pacifism of Anabaptists like Mennonites and the like.

And Then They Call Housewives Lazy

How dare you! No, I mean really how dare you!

There is a reason all these young women love their jobs, they are paid for doing virtually nothing all day long. Housewives, btw, are often told that their life is boring. Compared to that? I remember I once read a discussion about the lifestyle of a young couple who were both in IT and worked remotely. Someone wrote something along the line that insects have a more interesting life. Well, at least those IT guys actually worked, lol.
