Mental Health Industry

What do you think of it? Personally I feel that patologising bad behaviour is one way to excuse it. Like he's not a massive a8888le, he just has a NPD. She is not a stupid 888ch, she is just bipolar. People behave like jerks towards their families and we are supposed to feel sympathy for them because "they just can't help it". I mean if this really is the case they belong in an institution otherwise they'll hurt someone.

On the other hand, variations in normal healthy behaviour are patologised too. I've been reading some discussions on Jane Austen subreddit and OMG. Some people find a disorder by pretty much every character. Not everything is a mental health condition and needs therapy. Sometimes people are reserved or shy or outgoing or whiny because it's just a part of their inborn personality.

But reading reddit too much can give one a mental health condition, that's for sure:)))

Should We Feel Pity For OnlyF8ns Wh8res?

19th century classic literature with its sentimentalism gave us this trope of a "wh8re with a heart of gold" and it has been poisoning the debate on "fallen women" ever since.

Now 19th century folks did have an excuse for simping. There was a lot of poverty and basically no age of consent laws. Poor families would sell their daughters into pr8stitution as young as 9 or 10 in some cases. Obviously, the children were victims in these type of situations and the pity was deserved. There was also little in the way of workplace harassment prevention and some poor governess or a maidservant or a circus girl without social status or connections could be easily seduced and often pressured into s8xual relations with her male employer. Some chose it out of their own free will, of course, but the consequences, such as pregnancy could cost her her reputation and employment opportunities, with pr8stitution as the only way out.

Now this all is in the past. We have laws protecting women and children. Sometimes these laws go so far as disadvantaging men, like workplace harassment rules in some countries.

OnlyF8ns "girls" aren't pressured into anything, they consider themselves "models" and entrepreneurs. They freely choose to degrade themselves online for money. They engage in wh8redom because it's an easy way to earn, unlike some boring office job, taking care of unruly kids at school or changing bedpans in the hospital. These types of employment aren't really glamorous, but it's an honest way to make a living nonetheless.

These girls also aren't in danger of starvation because nowadays if you don't want to/can't work you can easily get some welfare. Hence, again, it's their free choice.

They deserve absolutely no pity and yes, they should be shamed for it. Women who defend them online basically defend harl8try and come across as lacking any sort of morals. You know the type who cheats on her boyfriend and then expects him to raise her baby as his own.

Men who sign up for these services are losers, and those who defend it are simps. Seriously, she isn't a damsel in distress, she is someone who sells pictures of her b8888ole to guys for money.

It's really embarrassing.

Should Grandparents Babysit?

"Boomers" are often criticised for (among other things) refusing to babysit their grandchildren. Now, obviously, it's a good thing for grandparents to be involved with their grand-kids, to be available, to offer help and advise as needed, and to babysit occasionally, when the parents have a date night together, for instance.

However, I have a feeling that's not what Boomer haters really mean (and btw, many of these so-called boomers are more like early GenXers at that moment). What they do mean is that they want their parents to raise their kids for them while they are out working full time for luxury stuff and having fun at night.

Here is a (generic) example of 2 generations from real life. Parents: mother stays home when the kids are born and may later work very part-time when the kids are teenagers. They live in a cheap average size house in a lower middle class neighbourhood and have 1 budget vacation a year. Children: both work full time while daycare and parents raise their kid (usually one as two is too much hassle), live in a big expensive house in a posh area (which their elderly parents help clean, as they have no time for all that nonsense) and have "many luxury vacations".

Oh, and they expect their parents to help with the yard work, too.

Is it a wonder that many parents rather don't like it? You know what? Your parents don't have an obligation to raise your kids. They already raised you. In fact, if less parents babysat for their entitled children, more mothers would stay where they should be, in their own homes raising their own kids. You don't have to live in a villa. You don't need 2 brand new cars. You aren't entitled to staying in all inclusive 5 star hotels 3 times a year. It's a want, not a need.

When you think of it, there must be a reason that people are at their most fertile in their 20s and not their 60s. It takes a lot of energy to take care of small children, and young people are much more energetic and resilient than someone who (nearly) reached the retirement age.

I think we should all stop hating on Grandma...

Why Conservatives Keep Losing...Again

Comic about use and abuse of government power.

I think I already wrote about it before:) Anyway, I don't have much time today, so just a couple of thoughts. Conservatives keep losing because it's inherently "bourgeois" ideology, i.e. they are obsessed with being respectable. God forbid they would break any rules, engage in  street activism or, in general, do anything except b8tching online about "liberal double standards" or in the best case, holding a prayer vigil.

While I'm not a big fan of D.Trump, I still remember how "traditional conservatives" were denigrating him in 2016 as "crude" and "boorish". Remember that famous "grab them by the 88888" remark? It had all these prissy types reaching for their smelling salts. He committed the ultimate sin of "not respecting women" by (gasp) wishing to bed them!!! Oh the horror of horrors, he had a libido.

Conservatives are the ultimate pedestalisers. They simply can't bring themselves to criticise women so if they do criticise feminism they somehow make it the fault of men. Along the lines of "men are so weak nowadays that women have to join the army". They keep pretending that it's still 19th century and all these sluts girls out there throwing themselves at chad and tyrone are simply pure misguided angels seduced by big bad men. They themselves would never offend any woman by desiring her, hence the reason why they chose chad in the 1st place, lol.

Being ultimately too cowardly to do anything themselves they spend an enormous amount of time  online attacking those who try changing things by inventing various conspiracy theories about psy-ops and stuff (not that psy-ops never happen, but you know what I mean). They have the personality and charisma of a Victorian schoolmarm and are always ready to scold those who in their opinion, deviate from the conservative standard. They are the enforcers of the speech norms (no, you can't say anything about the behaviour of group X. That's not NICE!!!)

In short, they keep losing because they simply refuse to fight. Conservatism is simply loser ideology

“It may be inferred again that the present movement for women’s rights will certainly prevail from the history of its only opponent, Northern conservatism. This [Northern conservatism] is a party which never conserves anything. Its history has been that it demurs to each aggression of the progressive party, and aims to save its credit by a respectable amount of growling, but always acquiesces at last in the innovation. What was the resisted novelty of yesterday is today one of the accepted principles of conservatism;... Its impotency is not hard, indeed, to explain. It is worthless because it is the conservatism of expediency only, and not of sturdy principle. It intends to risk nothing serious for the sake of the truth, and has no idea of being guilty of the folly of martyrdom.

P.S. While I do love The Lord Of The Rings there is a reason why it's so popular among conservatives. It's about good guys per chance acquiring the Ring Of Power and refusing to use it!!!

Feminism And Technology

I'm really tired of hearing how the situation we are in is the inevitable result of modern technology. Of course, inventions like the pill made certain aspects of feminism such as promiscuity easier to sell to the masses. However, the same technology exists in Mid-Eastern countries and guess what? No feminism there. So what's the difference?

The real difference is the laws and to a certain extent, the culture. We don't need to go back to subsistence farming to change society, changing laws would be enough. I'll give you one example: Turkey. Turkey is quite modern. It's a NATO country. It is a republic with the constitution, the parliament, the president, regular elections and women voting. Women can go to a university there and even serve in the army. Their movie industry has been promoting "strong independent womyn" trope for years now. There are no punishments for extramarital s8x and even prostitution and abortion is allowed.

And yet, the amount of women working/being single mothers/living together unmarried/running around half naked causing trouble and general societal dysfunction is quite low compared to the West. If you watched the Tasnim housewife channel I previously linked to, the lady (who is a Syrian refugee living in Istanbul) shows her daughter's primary school in one of her recent videos. The daughter just finished the 1st grade and wanted to be filmed together with her teacher. The teacher, you won't believe it, was a young man! There is a Utube channel of a Turkish vet and his assistant, you guessed it, is a man!

Those are just two examples of professions which in my country are nearly totally taken over by women. I even heard about some girls quitting the jobs as school teachers to get married to be told that they are shirking their duties since nobody would be left to educate the children if the women quit. Well, apparently the Turkish don't have a problem with filling these positions with someone who won't ever take a maternity leave, go work part-time or decide to quit altogether after a couple of years.

Keep in mind that she lives in Istanbul, a liberal city with many more women working than say somewhere in the country.

So how comes? It's really that simple. Turkish laws prohibit married women from working without an official permission from their husbands. And the culture tells the same husband that unless they are really poor (or liberal) he is a loser if he allows his wife to work outside home possibly mingling with strange men. The same culture tells him that divorce is bad and socialises girls to be proud of their homemaking skills. It also emphasises chastity and family honour, the concept which we used to have in the West but lost somewhere after WWII.

This culture is based on Islam. Unlike modern Western Christianity, Islam never really compromised on women's rights, or at least, not to the same degree. Take headcoverings, for instance. Most women nowadays, even in the most "conservative" churches will refuse to wear one. Turkey being secular, doesn't require women to cover themselves in public the way Iran does, e.g.

So some do and some don't. But if they attend some religious ceremony, they all will wear one because their religion demands it. Western religious leaders, on the other hand, will go out of their way not to offend modern women's sensibilities with such words as "modesty" or "submission" and spend a considerable amount of time explaining away "difficult" Bible passages or just ignore them altogether.

The result is that Turkey is still overwhelmingly Muslim and traditional while in the West, Christianity is dying out.

We don't need to go back to living on a farm in the middle of nowhere (which never really happened in Western Europe anyway since people lived in villages), we just need a political action to change the laws and the religious traditional revival. Unfortunately, it's impossible right now since the change in society always comes from men, and at least 50% of modern Western men are quite fine with equality by one or other reason. Blaming women for all of society's ills makes little sense since it's men who are the guardians of any given society and many prefer it the way it is.

Do We Need An Upper Class?

The question is purely rhetorical, of course, since any society will have a ruling elite, that's just the way things are.

The real question is who the members of elite are going to be. In Europe in Middle Ages, the upper class consisted chiefly of warrior aristocracy, the male representatives of which were supposed to fight for the interests of the king and country and as such, had special privileges. It's no doubt that many of them nowadays would be described as a sociopath/psychopath, their equivalent nowadays would be elite mercenaries de-facto ruling the country.

This old European aristocracy blended with rising bourgeoisie later on the way as capitalism starting developing. In some countries, you got various revolutions which chiefly swept this particular category of people away, while many other European countries kept the monarchy intact but undertook some reforms and are currently trying to pretend they are shining examples of democracy.

The truth is, the upper class became much more caste-like, secretive and insulated than even in medieval times, where you could get inheritable nobility bestowed on you for your service provided to your country while nowadays the only way to join them is either to be born in one of these families or become obscenely rich and marry into one.

And when you start looking closely at who is occupying all the positions of importance, there are still these people around. They have dropped the old "noblesse oblige"  principle and are cheerfully screwing their lessers on the behalf of the international financial elites. A funny thing is that in places like UK, they keep promoting themselves by making countless TV series and movies about themselves, like Downton Abbey which are especially popular in the USA, the country which fought a revolution to get free from the British Crown, of all places.

I honestly don't get this obsession with (British) upper classes. When you look at the consequences of their current rule, the government of elite mercs would probably be an improvement...

Why Do We Have Feminism?

Simple: we have feminism because most White European men support it. Now many women support it too, but women mostly follow men in everything.

Now to give you an example. I read about a right-wing Italian party poised to win the coming election. Its critics even suggest it's fascist. It is (or was) called "Brothers of Italy" and is led by a woman. She declares she is for traditional family and is a mother all the while vying for the highest political position in the country. She is against quotas but pro female equality. I mean how more traditional can you get?

This is a party which has popular support in a Catholic country. Of course, there are online antifeminist pockets where you can read that women shouldn't vote or be a president and  most/ all should be housewives instead. But it's not how the majority of the Western people think, and it's a fact. Yes, I understand the power of media, propaganda and laws but look at countries like Turkey. Their laws are secular, too, and in many ways similar to ours, with some exceptions. And yet, their culture and way of life are different.

Their elites are often secular just like over here, but the people are still quite religious while here in the West many openly mock Christianity and Christians and we don't say anything because we are taught to always turn another cheek. I'm not talking about violence here, mind you. But if you wouldn't let someone insult your mother why do you keep silent when they insult your faith?

Well, I guess many Western so-called men would let their mother be insulted, too and keep their peace.

So you could go back and forth and blame globalists, bankers, lying media, others -ists etc etc but in the end, our society is the way it is because the majority are fine with that.

Hello Fellow Menstruaters

 How are you doing?

No, I'm not going crazy:) I actually came across this word on a health blog while researching a female-related topic. It's been quite some time since I started noticing that American health websites when dealing with topics such as pregnancy or cycles or anything female-related are purposefully avoiding to use the word woman.

For instance, it's a "pregnant person" or "persons who menstruate" or even "persons capable of pregnancy" but menstruator just takes the cake! What does it make my husband, "a seed producer''?

I mean WTF??? A British website which I visited next was talking about "women of child-bearing age", btw...

Deep Down The Rabbit Hole

I'm really tired of those on the Right who keep pushing conspiracy theories. It doesn't help to improve society, it doesn't "own the libs" and it just makes our side look stupid. Yes, the MSM often lie and use propaganda and the powers that be do the same, but they are hardly omnipotent like some folks seem to believe. In, fact, they are getting increasingly incompetent due to the positive discrimination.

Whenever something bad happens, a big segment of the Right will tell you that it's just "fake news" or "crisis actors" or a psy-op of some sort. It became especially bad with the coronavirus epidemic. Did the governments make mistakes and use it for their own nefarious ends, like limiting rights and freedoms? They sure did. But the disease itself exists.

We all had it in March and no, it's not the same as flu or common cold, though similar in many ways. I've known people, my personal friends who wouldn't lie to me, getting pretty sick with it. I've also heard about some death cases. Granted, those were mostly elderly people with comorbidities, but it wasn't fake, neither do I believe that it was "planned".

Also, many who call themselves conservatives are obsessing about small details while missing the bigger picture. Take Covid, again. While I disliked masks just as much as anyone, there were a minor inconvenience compared to the threat of losing your job for not being vaxxed, and yet there were many more complaints about the former than about the latter.

Now we have monkeypox. According to some not-very-bright individuals, it's again a conspiracy by Western governments, presumably to make g**s look bad? Does it even make sense to you? Instead of using the situation to discourage certain lifestyles, conservatives once again choose to go deep down the rabbit hole of denying the obvious reality and promoting paranoia instead.

Infectious diseases totally don't exist any more, all these historical accounts of people dying are obviously fake, history is fake, too, etc etc.

Last year we had floods in Europe. I was close to one of the flooded towns and went there and took pictures and yet, some expressed unbelief about it. Just because the MSM used it to promote global climate change narrative in some places, doesn't mean it didn't happen! This year we visited another village that had been flooded, in Germany, guess what, its centre is still totally destroyed. But, it was absolutely a psy-op...Well, I guess it's easy to fall for these stories when you live in the middle of nowhere.

Several years ago there were several terror attacks in France and Belgium, and again, we were told that it was all "crisis actors", "hired by the gov-t", the very same government which promotes multiculturalism. Well, someone I know had family living in one of the affected areas, who witnessed the shootout between the police and the terrorists. They got bullet holes in one of their walls. Folks just don't realise how interconnected and close by everything is here in the Old World.

In my opinion, it's just the cope mechanism for those who can't accept the reality that the society is changing, and not in a good way. Just pretend that bad things aren't really happening.

That's why the Right keeps losing, they are always reactive, not pro-active and then reactive in the worst possible ways. Cows died somewhere in the desert. The MSM say it's due to climate change, so we'll react and deny they died from heat, they must have been poisoned by the special agents, or killed by 5G or whatever, or may be, didn't even die at all, the evidence was photo-shopped. Because natural disasters and (probably) neglect never ever happen, either.

Well, whatever keeps one happy, I guess, but personally I think that denying the reality is hardly helpful.

It Takes A White Liberal To Believe In Equality

Based immigrants saying it like it is:

Female physicists question ‘terrifying’ claims made by government commissioner Katharine Birbalsingh to MPs

Any common sense opposition to the Western equality dogma is obviously terrifying:)

Girls do not choose physics A-level because they dislike “hard maths”, the government’s social mobility commissioner has claimed, prompting anger from leading scientists...

Are these scientists biologists? Otherwise, they aren't qualified to have an opinion on the matter, methinks. Well, here you have it, a bit further:

Dame Athene Donald, a professor of experimental physics and master of Churchill College, Cambridge, said the comments were “terrifying” and “quite damaging”

Should probably stick to physics, lol! Also, am I the only one to notice that these strong and independent womyn often exhibit quite Victorian traits when somebody contradicts them? Terrifying and damaging, really? Quick, somebody bring the dame her smelling salts!

...Addressing a science and technology committee inquiry on diversity and inclusion in Stem subjects (science, technology, engineering and maths), Katharine Birbalsingh said fewer girls chose physics because “physics isn’t something that girls tend to fancy. They don’t want to do it, they don’t like it,” she said.

Birbalsingh, who is headteacher of Michaela Community school in Wembley, north-west London, said that only 16% of A-level physics students at her school were girls – lower than the national average of 23%. When asked why so few girls progressed to physics A-level, despite outperforming boys at GCSE, she said: “I just think they don’t like it. There’s a lot of hard maths in there that I think they would rather not do.”

“The research generally … just says that’s a natural thing,” she added. “I don’t think there’s anything external.”

Birbalsingh, a French and philosophy graduate, said she was “certainly not out there campaigning” for more girls to do physics. “I don’t mind that there’s only 16%,” she said. “I want them to do what they want to do.”

Letting girls do what they want to do would mean that many of them choose to get married and have children instead of pursuing tertiary education, something that the cult of barrenness and androgyny can't tolerate.

Speaking of barrenness, I guess everybody already heard about possible Roe vs Wade overturn? Big if true. About the person who leaked the info. Why is it that Third World immigrants to Europe are often much more socially conservative than those who immigrate to the USA? There is something in the American society which makes them really insane, I guess...

Not Everything Is A Conspiracy

Speaking about the French election, folks on the Telegram and Gab keep pushing this conspiracy nonsense about it being "rigged". Honestly, it just makes our side look stupid. There was nothing fishy about Macron winning, in fact, I didn't expect any other outcome and the margin was wide enough.

Actually, we can thank boomers for this victory; you know, the first generation to live better than their parents and their children. They voted for him in bigger numbers than the immigrant youths. He got like 71% of the votes of those over 70.

Yes, there were protests about the election outcome and riots, which is again, very typical. When you look at the Round One, you'll understand why. The communist/far-left candidate polled nearly as high as M-me Le Pen, and it's his voters who are protesting. They were carrying banners saying, No to Macron, No to Le Pen. More people abstained from voting or left a blank sheet than those who voted Le Pen so it's hardly surprising.

I have a feeling sometimes that many Right-wing online personalities live in a bubble comparable to that of the lefties. Because their online echo chamber agrees with them, they think that secretly everybody thinks the same. While the truth is, that there are plenty of liberals and progs out there who find the present status quo great.

Also, Marine Le Pen is hardly a great conservative hero, as far as I know she isn't even married to the father of her kids whom she basically left in the care of others to further her career. It's quite feasible that she would slow the decline but I don't believe she'd be able to reverse it. Is it even possible without the spiritual revival? It would mean returning to the basic tenets of Christianity which aren't the same as the current Western "values" such as fornication, abortion, feminism etc which I'm not sure where Marine stands at.

Her being a woman probably didn't help, either, because despite the years of equal rights many people still think that being a president isn't a job for a female. In general, this outcome was quite predictable and is hardly a reason for the current hysterics. It's worse for us over here, believe me, because unlike the Americans and the British, we are stuck with the guy who wields quite a bit of influence in the EU. But, whatever shall be, shall be. Tomorrow is another day...

Blackpilling On The Internet

Good news first: we now have our own freedom convoy! Or to be more precise, each province organised a freedom convoy and yesterday they were touring the country. The plan is to go to Brussels all together this week. And it's not only truckers, either: anything/one on wheels is welcome, so there were personal cars, farmers with tractors, bikers etc. Isn't it great???

And here comes something I wanted to write about for quite some time. Whenever I read news on alternative media, such as Telegram, there's always blackpilling going on in the comments. Freedom convoy is not an exception. It usually goes along the lines: didn't happen, those are not genuine protests, crisis actors, elites just want us to protest, it's all part of a plan, those guys are feds, well you know the script.

There is a Christian variety, too, they will tell you that Jesus just wants you to stay at home and pray and do absolutely nothing.

Of course, we know there are enough shills and agents online, and I imagine most of the negative comments are coming from them, because that's exactly what the elites want: that we do absolutely nothing in defence of our rights and freedoms and that we look at those who protest with suspicion. Yet I imagine some of this sentiment is genuine. And it's these people whom I'd like to address.

If you are so paranoid that you see feds under your bed, seek help, you really need it. If you are a Christian, that's exactly your attitude of doing absolutely nothing that brought our society to the point of no return. God helps those who help themselves. And also, God hates a coward. A lot of this defeatism is just cowardice and cope: it's easier to justify your own inaction by trying to delegitimise what somebody else is doing.

Now I'm not saying that each one of us should be running to the town square with a protest flag, we aren't all called to be freedom fighters, but this blackpilling attitude of throwing dirt at those who are trying their best to change things is not helpful at all. It's incredibly demoralising, whether accidentally or by design. Just stop it, please, and find something productive to do.

We live in difficult times, right now many of us are, however, mildly prosecuted for taking a stand for personal liberty. But be of good cheer! Our elites may be evil, but that doesn't make them all powerful as some suggest. They are not geniuses, most of them; in fact, they are mere mortals just like we are.

I remember reading about a wealthy man who was in for his 6th heart transplant. He was nearing 100 and boasted that he would live till 200. You know what? He didn't even survive the operation. The captain of Titanic boasted that his ship was unsinkable and we all know how this went. Pride goes before the Fall, something that powers that be appear to have forgotten.

Imo, the best way to deal with blackpilling is just to scroll down and try to look at the bright side, don't lose courage, don't lose hope and don't lose faith! The darkest hour is the one comes just before the dawn...

P.S. Just to make it clear. I'm talking about peaceful protests only. There is another group of bots who will try to encourage the readers to commit acts of violence. Anyone doing it is NOT your friend and quite possibly, a fed.

Boomers And Secularism

The problem with many of those who are against the corona restrictions is the confirmation bias, they think that the silent majority agree with them or are just an innocent victim of brainwashing. The truth is, however, that the majority either don't care of downright agree with the government policies, as proven by the recent Swiss referendum.

Yet, the referendum also brought to light an interesting fact: the group who overwhelmingly voted for corona passports are 65+. Yes, we do have a boomer problem in our society, as the majority of the young people voted against the pass.

When I say "boomer" I don' mean it in the strict definition of the word, btw, but the fact is that the average age in Europe is about 50, and it will only get higher, so that soon a common flu will cause lockdowns and extreme measures.

And here secularism comes into picture. Many of those people and their families are terrified by the idea of dying any time soon, and they somehow have bought into the idea that they are entitled to live to 100 and that the government should ensure it happens.

Now please don't misunderstand me, the elderly deserve good care and there is nothing wrong with living long, especially if you manage to stay healthy. But let's be realistic: someone in his mid80s is on the death's door and no amount of temper tantrums is going to change the fact that humans are mortal. We all will die one day. Make peace with God, accept this fact and just move on.

Yet when I read Twitter discussions, folks will say things like: "my father of 83 had a right to live longer, but due to selfish antivaxxers spreading infections he died from corona". Not an exact quote. mind you, but someone did say it.

You see, religion, even a non-Christian one, usually teaches you humility, while secularism teaches you entitlement. So now we have to vaccinate little kids because otherwise a Grandma of 87 may die, and that's a great tragedy for humanity.

A funny thing is, there is a theory supported by the Scriptures that human beings should on average live to 120, however, I don't think that the way to long life goes through mandatory jabs, medications and surgeries. Many of the diseases people suffer from in old age, like diabetes type 2, were years in the making and are often preventable, yet the secular morals teach you that your actions should have no consequences.

Someone else should pay the bill. That's why it's OK to punish non-vaccinated, but it's not OK to discuss obesity, for instance.

The current division in society about the ways to fight pandemic goes along both class and age lines. It's young vs old and technocrats/office workers against mostly blue collar workers.

We'll see how it ends, but my bet is on the young and productive.

P.S. The root of the problem is not that people on average live longer, it's that they live unhealthier longer.  40 years ago most would die after their 2nd heart attack, now they have like 8 bypasses. Modern medical care doesn't heal people, it gives them a quick fix and then the virus comes and here you have it.

Western Women Have A Reputation

And not for being good wives and mothers or even overall decent human beings, either...

When you browse on your smartphone, YouTube keeps pushing videos into your timeline, if you hit on one, you'll get the whole series, that's how I grew addicted to reading UTube discussions on the Magnificent Century, a Turkish historical drama/soap I'd written about before.

Yesterday, I was reading comments on Prince Mustafa's relationship with one of his girlfriends. After his father prohibits their marriage since she is of low birth, he lets her go.

But he still took her virginity, remarked someone indignantly.

Well, she was a Christian, and it's not important for Christians anyway, was the answer.

That's what they think about us, and honestly, who could blame them? Of course, many Eastern people somehow still mistakenly consider modern Western countries Christian, and I realise that Christian generally means white/Western to them, but even among those who call themselves Christians virginity and chastity aren't exactly hot topic, either.

In fact, I remember how a Christian site (I think it was Boundless but could be mistaken, so don't take my word for it), had a discussion where virgins were told that virginity was their idol. Also, have you seen what "chaste" Christian girls wear to church nowadays?

I seldom write about modesty on this blog for several reasons. First, is it any use flogging a dead horse? Modesty in clothes is a totally foreign concept to 99% of the citizens, often including non-Western immigrants and fundie women, too. The first group will cover their hair (and that not always) but dress in pretty Western styles for the rest, the latter will wear a short skirt provided it's black/dark.

Second, you easily get accused of being "jealous" of younger women and their beauty. The accusation is ridiculous, of course, since it's not only the problem of the young women any more, and those young women in 15 years will be older, too, so what is there to be jealous about? But, of course, those who hurl it won't care.

Third, Western men, despite what they will tell you, love it. Muslims will often avert their eyes even talking to you, because that's the way they are taught, but I have yet to encounter a Western man of whatever age and religion who would do it. Oh yes, they sometimes decry it online but keep watching.

In general, the reaction to this show is eye-opening. It depicts, among other things, infidelity, fornication and abortion. Muslim viewers decry it. How could you kill an innocent child? Why is Sultan not monogamous, asked someone from Pakistan (!), that's just so horrible and immoral. How could you commit adultery and fornication with your best friend's wife? Why are ladies' decolletes so low? That's the issues which bother them

Western people are bothered primarily by the lack of feminism and  the lack of equality as in the Royal family being arrogant and having more rights than their slaves/servants and commoners.

The East is the East and the West is the West and never the twain shall meet, I guess...

Forever Boosters?

Half year ago it was dismissed as a "conspiracy theory", yet here we are:

The booster jabs are intended to deal with waning immunity among groups which first received the vaccines at the start of the year – but the number administered each day has been a fraction of the rate during the initial programme.

It's not only for the older folks, either:

The jabs will not be rolled out to the under-50s until a greater proportion of the older age group have been jabbed, which at the current rate is expected to be in early 2022.

It's your patriotic duty, citizens!

The most senior doctor in the NHS has called on Britons to take up the offer of booster jabs to 'help save Christmas'.

NHS England's national medical director Professor Stephen Powis said getting a booster will 'protect the freedom and Christmas that we have all earned'.

Since the virus is now endemic, it starts looking as a life-long subscription to boosters at this point.

I especially liked this one:

A recent modelling study calculated that jabbing all 12- to 15-year-olds could prevent tens of thousands of hospital admissions, mainly of older people, saving thousands of lives. If most of this age group remains unvaccinated, however, these benefits will not materialise.

Remember when kids had to be vaccinated against polio to save Grandma? Me neither. Why is nothing said about the vaccine benefits for this specific age group? What about side effects? As a society, we have officially arrived at the point when we are experimenting with the health of our young to extend life of the elderly, most of them severely ill.

Makes me think of the Bible story about sacrificing your children to Molech, It was to be expected actually, after we allowed sacrificing of the unborn to convenience.

Western "science" in the current year starts looking downright satanic:

Lawmakers slam Anthony Fauci

Day of reckoning can't be that far away any more. Just don't expect to be raptured out of it, we will all bear the consequences, I'm afraid...

Corona And Mental Health

I had a dream tonight. Or, rather a nightmare. In my dream, I wanted some love from my husband and he told me, he told me that the government made a new rule saying that you first must fill in the form and submit it to the public health official, to prevent corona infections.

I looked at the form and it had 3 pages, the 1st page demanding all your passport information. I said, it was ridiculous, surely it wasn't the government business and what about our right to privacy? But he still insisted on filling it in.

Then I woke up. My husband was just leaving for work and he laughed when I told him. He was against this whole nonsense from the very beginning. I know it all sounds far-fetched and yet, after all we've been through and considering apartheid passports we have now, who knows what the next step will be?

And while all this is being done supposedly to save the elderly, has any "health official" asked himself what is the effect of all this horror propaganda on the old folks' minds? I know many who have locked themselves in their homes from the very beginning.

They are vaccinated and still afraid, because don't you know, you still can get it? Will it ever be over for them? Someone told me, they will only go out when corona disappears from the whole world. Which basically means never, because the virus is endemic now.

And, of course, we all know that isolation at this age can lead to dementia rather quickly. how many of those who were balancing on the edge before were pushed over it? And will anyone take responsibility for what was done to these people?

For any person who is in the same situation  and by any chance reading it, snap out of it now, while it's not too late. Stop feeling yourself a victim.  Don't shut yourself off from friends and family, you need their support. We are all going to die one day, a proverb says that a brave man dies once while a coward dies every day.

Don't spend the rest of your life in fear, it's not worth it.

Orders Are Orders

We used to laugh at krauts Germans sometimes saying that they are sticklers for the rules, but recently we found out it's really true for the big part of their population.

As you probably know, masks have been largely abolished here in the Netherlands, but you still have to wear them inside in Germany and Belgium. Well, when we were on vacation the borders got finally open and we visited both these countries. In Belgium, most folks were wearing masks under their noses, the way it used to be done over here when it was mandatory.

In Germany, though...There was a village close to the border with a big supermarket which we like very much. It usually sells lots of stuff of all sorts. I will admit, I've been missing German interior design and gardening magazines so I was quite enthusiast about going there even though I had to wear my mask again. Inside we noticed people were staring at us in a funny way, I was wondering why.

And then a lady shop assistant approached us and told us we had a WRONG SORT OF MASK ON! Ours were from fabric bought in a common store while in Germany you have to wear a special government-approved one with a number on it! A medical grade one, from a pharmacy. To say I was mad is an understatement.

They all had theirs pulled up all the way to their eyes, btw. Ultimately it was for the best though, because while we were debating whether we should may be still go there for a couple of day, they got flooded, exactly the area which we were planning to visit.

Enfin, I guess no Germany for me this year as I'm not optimistic about autumn. In Iceland they already say the whole circus will last 15 years. We'll see...

Conspiracy Or Incompetence?

There are so many conspiracy theories going around. NWO, globalists, population reduction etc. Some people say that viruses are a conspiracy and they don't exist in reality. The main reason I took the corona stuff seriously in the beginning was because of all the usual suspects shouting about "plandemic". Frankly, many of those guys sound paranoid.

It doesn't mean they are wrong on everything, though. But for many people, it's like the Garden of Eden moment, their eyes got opened and they finally realised the king was naked. Yet, this whole NWO thing has been going strong since 'good guys' won WWII. The first vaccines were pushed on everyone already in the 1950s. Some of them already had aborted fetus cells back then. Boomers were easily influenced by the TV and they ate it all hook, line and sinker.

I don't exactly support VD's rants about the day of the pillow, but we do have a boomer question, to a degree. Most boomers thought the new world emerging in the 1960s and 1970s, with its unlimited credit, easy travelling, anticonception and disappearance of many diseases was simply great. And it's boomers in many cases who are the most vaccinated. We are told to subject teenagers to experimental vaccines so that the boomers could live longer.

The world has also been getting dumber. In the 19th century, working class were reading Dickens. Nowadays the middle class are watching dumb TV shows. Instead of meritocracy we get 'gender' and ethnicity quotas. Politicians only think about how to survive the next election and are afraid to take responsibility. The majority are addicted to their smartphones.

Enter Corona. Whatever it really is, whether it's just a more dangerous type of flu or a lab grown virus, I do think it's real, however, it's been handled with gross incompetence, used by politicians for dirty games, the mortality exaggerated, the possible treatments thrown out to push for the experimental vaccines etc etc. It could be that the conspiracy theorists are right. But it also could be just the incompetence of our rulers, the failure of the post war system, and the arrogance of those who think they have the power to eradicate diseases and to command nature (in reality, God).

Heck, it could even be both...

The Importance Of Freedom Of Conscience

I was planning to begin this post by stating that the freedom of conscience is an important Western value, but then remembered that even in Muslim countries, at least in theory, Christians are supposed to practice their faith unmolested if they pay a special tax (I think it's called jizzya, but too lazy to check).

In Europe, this freedom was born out of Reformation and the religious wars that followed it. In the end, we recognised that every person should be free to follow his or her own conscience in the matters of faith and principles. Some say it was beginning of liberalism but I honestly don't care. While I disagree with many things in the modern society, I don't think we should throw the baby out with the bathwater, so to say, as the recent lockdowns proved.

You can abuse the notion of freedom and stretch it to promote sin/vice, but it doesn't mean that (political) freedom in itself is wrong.

The reason I decided to write about it is because some people apparently believe that the freedom of conscience only exists for men, not for women. What I'm referring to is the modern teaching on wifely submission. While progressives scorn the very idea, some religious people go the other direction and take it too far, claiming that the husband is the final authority on everything outside of outright criminal behaviour, like murder, which the wife is still not supposed to commit if commanded.

I recently heard about some lady who didn't want to get vaxxed but did it anyway because her husband persuaded her. Personally I don't think that a decision on so controversial a topic should be taken under pressure from others. After all, we are talking here about YOUR health.  If you choose to do it, you do it for yourself, not for others.

There are things which one spouse simply can't and shouldn't force the other one to do. He or she can't force the other one go against their convictions. Here I think it's important to make a distinction between a preference and a conviction. For instance, a woman may prefer to wear long dresses but her husband doesn't like how she looks in them. It this situation, it would be wise to follow his taste more than her own, since after all, it's (hopefully) her own husband she's trying to please with the way she looks.

On the other hand, she may have a conviction against wearing a miniskirt, in which case it would go against her conscience to do it. A better example would probably be the anti-conception pill. Many Protestants seem to think it's fine, while the Catholic Church expressly prohibits it. For a Catholic woman, to follow her husband in this matter would mean to go against her Church's teaching and her own conscience.

And you should consider that going against one's conscience never pays. There is an old poem called Soldier Of Fortune which deals exactly with this topic. One could think that it's just a poetic Victorian exaggeration they were so prone to, but it's still true nowadays. If you go against your deep, heart-felt convictions for worldly profit, or to please others around you, it will never pay, but vice versa, it will ruin your self-image, destroy your inner peace and break you as a person. You will despise yourself for your weakness, especially if the desired result isn't achieved.

The end doesn't justify the means, and the fact that you were pressed into doing it won't comfort you in the end, because as a grown-up, deep down you know that there always is a choice and you are the one who bears full responsibility.

Each of us has or should have a moral/honour code and if you break it, you do it at your own peril. Blind obedience to authority is imo, not Biblical and we should always use our power of discernment.

I should add that I'm not talking about ordinary things like what to eat for dinner or which colour wallpaper to choose for your bedroom, but I guess you all understand what I meant!

Or so I hope...

Neo-liberalism Killed Grandma

It's time for our periodical corona-update. There is finally light at the end of the tunnel: since Wednesday next week, we will be allowed to visit "non-essential" stores again, by appointment (which in practice will mean that small stores will just open for everyone). And then, 1 week later, they promise us we'll be able to eat outside in a restaurant!

I already wrote myself down today for one store, others weren't so far with their planning yet. Let me tell you something, not everybody is happy! Some high-placed doctors were so free as to express their discontent with the government publicly. Which naturally leads to some heated discussions, where as usual killing grandma is still used as an argument. (WARNING: don't click on the link, it's very wicked, so there, I have warned you all:)

It's true that corona virus is especially dangerous for older people. However, apart from the ethical question whether it's fair to sacrifice the future of the (relatively) young to save 80+ers, there is something else to consider. Suppose Grandma died from corona, whose fault it really was? Was it because someone walked around without a mask, or spent too much time in the stores, or, Heaven forbid, ate in a restaurant?

Or was it because the government cut the amount of IC beds more than in half (2300 in 2015 vs 1000 in 2020), there are problems with organising an efficient vaccination campaign and 60% of the hospital staff works part-time

By the way, it's not exclusively the fault of women, as the article implies. I have some 1950/60s pockets about "hospital romance" and an average doctor used to work 60 hours a week, and sometimes more (yes, they were nearly all male). Later, they discovered "work/life balance". It's now quite common to have married couples where both spouses are doctors/health care specialists and work 30 hours per week each. So we now need 2 specialists where previously 1 was enough.

Doctors used to be these noble heroes who would bravely sacrifice themselves for the public good, by entering a cholera barrack in a poor neighbourhood. They were supposed to take risks, just like soldiers do during the war. Yet, later, it just became another well-paid white collar job, while nurses changed from nuns/single women into married mothers who all want to work 2 days a week and have their vacations on time.

It's not exactly their fault, either, it's the way the powers that be have structured our society since at least mid-1970s.

I dread to think what will happen in 20 more years, when boomers and early Gen-X massively retire, and the male-female balance in health care will shift even further, while more than 50% of the population will be over sixty. Enfin, may be these doctors from Syria we have been importing lately will save us.

On the other hand, with our technical advances, we are artificially keeping people alive who would be dead 60 years ago, after their second heart attack. There is something very wrong with a society where1/3 of the population is in the risk group, and while you can't help getting older, being overweight/obese is your personal choice.

We also collectively decided that Grandma's place is in an institution, not at home; because taking care of the elderly generally interferes with fun activities, and nursing homes are exactly the places where the most outbreaks regularly take place.

So to sum it up, who it was that killed Grandma? Was it anyone in particular or is it just the way our society functions nowadays? There is too much market fetishism on the right. Some things, like health care, should be about care and prevention of dangerous diseases, not about profits. So if you want to blame someone, blame neoliberalism. We have tried communism, we have tried capitalism, may be it's time for the third way/populism?
