England Goes Full PC

Well, I can't even...Judge for yourselves:

A British police officer was moved to activate her panic button after taking offence at a parody song making fun of former Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden being played at a garden party, bringing in serious re-enforcements to a small English village...Responding to the call for help, the local force dispatched another ten officers and a police helicopter...

Mark Donovan, who attended the party in the Cambridge village ... said: “... We had our karaoke machine on playing music through our phones from YouTube which are all approved songs.

  1. The worst part is that they confiscated the karaoke machine and are investigating this incident as a hate crime!

I was naïve to expect to read that the officer was reprimanded for over-reacting.

I know the rest of the world, including Europe and Canada, don't have the free speech protections we have in the US, but this is insane and scary.

But certain factions here in the US would love to impose similar restrictions.

I pray that all our governments wise up before it's too late and we are all living in dhimmitude in a world-wide caliphate.

  2. No, the worst part is that the song apparently comes from an American movie which was even nominated for the Best Comedy of the Year 2016. I mean, how could the poor bastards know that Big Brother disapproved of it? I suggest UK government at least publishes a list of forbidden songs and movies regularly, to keep its subjects informed...

    Not just you Dawn!

I can see the headline now "Karaoke machines causes man to commit act of terror!"

    How pathetic.
