How Not To Marry A Loser

 I wanted to write a long post originally, but then decided I'd just give you a couple of examples based on what I've seen irl, details somewhat changed, obviously.

Case 1.

A guy goes on vacation and picks up a divorced single mom who is cute and very easy. Somehow she gets pregnant and he takes her and the kid back home. He doesn't actually know much about her and her character besides that she's good in bed (or so he thinks). He later finds out that she is lazy, low class, entitled and has substance abuse problems.

Case 2. A good Christian girl keeps herself for marriage and doesn't date much. She meets a guy who is also a believer from a decent Christian middle class family and falls in love. The family wine and dine her and that makes her blind to the fact that the guy in question is a school dropout, can't hold a job and gets a burnout the moment he has to exert himself. After the wedding she finds out that he expects her to keep working even after the children come, prefers to work part-time himself but won't lift a finger to help with the housework.

Case 3. A Christian guy meets a Christian girl who is pretty, good-natured and a virgin. He marries her and then finds out that she has a princess complex, doesn't cook, doesn't clean but has a taste for luxury. 

Add to these an example of a guy who is an eternal student because he doesn't want to work and gets pain in his head/back from working a normal working week, a party girl who had like 100 men in her bed but is now "reformed" and wishes for a good Christian husband (but still likes to party), a guy who is 30 but expects his parents to take care of him and a girl who says she doesn't want children because her career is more important.

I could go on, but I think you get my point. If you wish to have a good marriage and a normal family life avoid these types like the plague. Let them marry each other...

My Thoughts About The Italian Election

 "The best way to control opposition is to lead it." 

I may be mistaken, of course, we'll see.

All these so-called "conservatives" salivating in comments on Gab and Twitter about the "first woman ever to lead in Italy (and she is much hotter than Hilary and totally "right wing") are seriously pathetic, though. Guys, why are you such simps? Is it an American thing or something?  

There is nothing traditional about any of this.

Should We Hate Boomers?

Boomers may often be clueless, and they are the first generation who normalised abortion, no-fault divorce and working mothers. They often support white knighting, third world immigration (as long as it is legal!) and like talking about boot straps. Younger generations may find them egoistic and irritating. I get all this. 

But as Christians, we are supposed to treat older people with respect, as our own parents, and have compassion for their weaknesses. We aren't supposed to hate on them and make jokes about killing them  (the day of the pillow or whatever the heck they call it). In my opinion, such jokes are in very poor taste and I'd like to remind the fellow GenX-ers (and it's mostly them, with a couple of Millennials) that we are also getting older by the day and it soon will be our turn.

There is nothing "traditionally Christian" about it at all. The reason I'm writing about it is because I often see this type of discussions on Gab where Boomer hate minute is held practically every day. 

Also, it's not your (Boomer) parents' duty to babysit your children, especially if they took the trouble to raise you normally, with mother staying home and all that. You owe them a duty as a child to take care of them in their old age, not vice versa. Too many young people seem to forget it...

Crazy Summer. More Germany.

 It's like this summer never ends. We got a temperature spike of +30*C again last weekend. Then it finally started raining! I think last time we had a real rain was somewhere in the beginning of July. Yesterday was the last really warm day, about +25*C but it's still going to be +21/22*C for some time and then? Who knows. Normally I always feel blue when the weather becomes more autumn-like, but I'm not really sorry to see this summer gone. It's still like 24*C in our bedroom...

Should Christians Support Disney?

  That is the question:

Last week, Disney continued down its path to destruction, releasing a new cartoon entitled Little Demon, and it is just as bad as it sounds...

 The cartoon takes place 13 years after an unmarried pagan woman is impregnated by Satan (voice played by Danny Devito) and follows her and her daughter (literally the spawn of Satan and referred to as the Antichrist) through everyday life.

The series features demonic witchcraft, pagan rituals, gratuitous blood, gore, and nudity, and judging by the trailer (included here, but not recommended) can easily be considered pornographic by definition. 

Antichrist is now female, too! In my times, it was male (does anyone still remember the Omen movies:)

Notice that the series features witchcraft and pagan rituals, tied to satanism. Still think Harry Potter were innocent children's books?

The Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power (Amazon Prime) is so staggeringly bad, it's hilarious. Everything about it is ill-judged to a spectacular extreme.
