I'm not even going to talk about the Bible or preach modesty to anyone. But for Pete's sake, it looks like at least half of the people running around have never even heard the words ''skin cancer'' ?
Oh yes and going out sunbathing and doing sports in the midday sun in 36*C then complaining about heat stroke definitely has these mad dogs and Englishmen vibes;)

ReplyDeleteWe live where the heat is oppressive during the summer months (subtropical FL), and I'm always surprised by folks who decide to do a run or a power walk at midday. We do our exercise before 6 AM because we respect the sun's rays. Even from an ethnic group that rarely gets skin cancer, there is still the issue of dehydration and heat stroke.
People simply refuse to accept that there are certain things they should just NOT do, no matter how much they want to.

Yes, amazing, isn't it? And keep in mind that the majority of the people over here aren't just white but very white;) Many don't even tan but get this lobster look. And letting little children all get sunburned is just criminal, imo.
