  1. My thoughts and prayers will go out to the French people all day today. I'm cynical and jaded, which makes me hope they don't use this atrocity to pass legislation.

  2. It's still going on... In one of these locations there were a lot of American tourists I heard.

  3. We are watching it at the moment, too. It reminds me of 9/11. I feel now how I felt then. I seen France shut their borders and Obama has pledged whatever France needs we will stand with you. I think Germany has also made such a statement.

I remember when the towers came down how in shock I was, and how upset I was. For days I had to come to terms with the fact that America can be touched. And that day was the beginning for me of learning that 1) I was selfish and thought the world revolved around the USA 2) America conducts wars that I know nothing about and 3) the government doesn't always have my best interest at heart.

This is a very big deal affecting the world. It looks like all the NATO countries are mobilizing right now.

  4. Mobilizing doesn't help much against guerrilla warfare. I have been to Paris several years ago and it was bad already back then. Parts of it looked like a third world country. The centre was relatively safe though and this is where the attacks took place.

  5. I used to believe the 911 crash of the buildings was an attack, but research by prominent architects show serious doubts about that. More evidence shows it was an inside demolition on purpose and involved financial fraud, insurance, etc. the Paris news also brings suspicion from some people. Both events immediately caused government to take away more freedom from law abiding citizens. The man who wrote this piece makes a good point that it causes presidents to declare war for the purpose of gain. http://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2015/11/14/stephen-lendman-asks-legitimate-questions-about-french-attacks/ For more information on the trade tower crash, go to YouTube and search for architects and engineers report on 911. It's never good to completely trust the media or rely o my on what they show on tv.

  6. I won't comment on the 9/11 but the news from Paris isn't suspicious for anyone around here. It's 4 hours driving from where I live, they were Dutch present at this concert. There have been enough witnesses. It's not the first terror attack in France and it won't be the last. As for the government taking away our freedoms, the freaking government exists to protect its people. Europeans should be more worried about our countries sliding towards full anarchy and chaos than about that.

  8. In the interests of political correctness I must say something along the lines of "extremism" and "radical elements within Islam" as you never know who is reading this. ISIS, in any case, claimed responsibility. Is there anything they don't claim responsibility for?

  9. Four hours away is not very far away at all. I feel for you and for Pairs and for the French people. To be honest I did not know most of Paris was in such a state. Whoever is responsible, and whatever happens, it's just not right. People should not have their lives, their peace, and their feelings of safety taken away from them.

Thank you for the video btw. I just clicked it to see if it was the full movie or just a clip. It looks like it is a full 2 hours which is very cool. Thank you!

I find Martin Armstrong's approach interesting.

  11. Peace, you are welcome! It's a very interesting movie, from the historical point of view, but it's definitely not "entertaining".

My opinion on what's happening around me is not fit to print, so I'll keep it to myself.

    Miriam, interesting.
