That headline really puzzled me. I thought that what's wrong with soda? OMG, I use it everywhere, I even wash my hair with it! Then I realized that it was not about baking soda or "crystal soda" but beverage...Have never really liked drinking soda that much. Only with occasional hamburger I have one coke.
Actually, fruit juice and smoothies which are often promoted as a "healthy" alternative, are just as bad concerning sugar content, if not worse. As someone said, compare the time you need to peel, eat and digest 4 oranges, vs drinking a glass of orange juice. It just ain't right!
