If You Are Upset With Your Government

Rejoice! At least, you are not living in Scotland:

Under the new legislation, anyone deemed to have been verbally ‘abusive’, in person or online, to a transgender person, including “insulting” them could be hit with a prison sentence of up to seven years.

That instantly led to a flood of bad faith reports, including from conservatives making a mockery of the system and from deranged left-wing activists trying to punish their ideological adversaries.

David Threadgold, Chairman of the Scottish Police Federation, said that the new legislation was being exploited to pursue personal and political vendettas.

“Police Scotland have gone public and said that on every occasion, reports of hate crime will be investigated,” Mr. Threadgold told the BBC. “That creates a situation where we simply cannot cope at the moment.”

  1. Its a damn shame no one got the list of those who created and voted in favor of that abomination pretending to be a law, and reported them all for "hate speech." So they could all be prosecuted to the fullest extension of that abomination they call a law. Heck if Scotland has something close to the US's citizen arrest, ordinary citizens could drag them out in handcuffs for "hate speech" against the Scots. Of course those who voted in favor of it wouldn't recognize hypocrisy if it came up and slapped them on the face, so odds are they would be confused over why they themselves were being arrested. - W

  2. Remember, when we ladies used to drool over scotchmen, because they were seen so much more manly than brits? Now they have apparently all been castrated, real men wouldn't have this.

I wrote I great deal more, but removed it because as a christian lady, one can only say so much.

In my country, police have no resources to investigate minor robberies or assaults, exept if the victim is POC. If the criminal is, it is all hushed down. And they always have time for Hate Crimes.

On positive side, young men are again interested in military careers. And not so positively, some young women too. All this started with women in army and churches pulpit.

  3. Anon W., I think their interior minister did get a lot of complaints about himself. UK is more or less a caste system, so the upper class who write these laws are pretty much exempt anyway.

  4. Blanka, that was Hollywood propaganda we grew up with:) Highlander and Rob Roy etc. They are apparently worse off than England proper. I read on an English tg channel that they can also put you in prison for up to 7 years if you don't report having a chicken at home. I mean WT*???

Luckily we don't have hate crime legislation yet (for how long?) but it's more or less the same lax attitude about crime. As for military careers...I don't know if this is a good idea in the current year. Here they are talking about reinstating draft, for women, too. Because wombs can always be imported, amirite?
