Men For Equality Of Women

If one reads too much of the so-called "red pill" blogs  he gets an impression that everything bad that happened to the Western world including feminism and liberalism, has been the fault of women. It's not like the 19th century men rebelled against the Throne and Altar or participated in various revolutions, or enacted divorce reforms or anything. No, it was those evil women.

I am also reliably informed that resident feminist lady journalists penning articles in the MSM on how we need more feminism and liberal politicians, male and female all represent the mysterious Female Imperative which demands total matriarchy or at least something close to it, and that all normal women agree and support it.

It's not an impression that I get by looking around. What I see is that too many of Western men seem to be emotionally invested in the idea of equality between men and women. For instance, today I read an article criticising the feminisation of our military. The commenters were about 99% men and more than a half of them fully supported women in the army.

They gave some very valid reasons for it:

First, women look sexy in uniform.
Second, you can go to bed with them.
Third, modern men are weak, so it's better if the women defend them.
Fourth, it will make ISIS scared.
Fifth, women are equal so let them do their share.
Sixth, there was this wonderful female commander fighting terrorists which was like, hot, and better than any man.

For the life of me I can't understand why any man would be proud of the fact that the (potential) enemy is more scared by a country's women than by its men or would proudly declare that he is weaker than a woman and needs defending. Also, isn't it hilarious that the fierce supporters of equality of sexes seem to be motivated by women as sexual objects?

It's just one more example of the simple fact that the Western man lost his will to power.
Not so long ago, they were referred to as lords of creation, now they seem content to play the second fiddle. It's not just that the traditional male authority came with heavy responsibilities and these guys wish to avoid them, it's more like a religious belief. It's really weird. Is it any wonder that the Western world has become such a mess? We survived two horrible World Wars but will we survive the feminisation of society?

You got a point here. What many MRM-men do not seem to understand, is that we have feminism because MEN allowed it. For example women couldn't vote if the men who were in parliament hadn't voted first for universal right to vote.

And if men believe they are better than women, how com something can be women's fault? It is like if I would let my dob misbehave and then claim that dogs are so BAD and universe so UNFAIR and we need owner's rights movement. Men used to have similar power over women than I have over my dog (pointedly said). If my dog misbehaves, I blame myself, not her. I have all the power over her and therefore all the responsibility.

I think my point is that men have only themselves to blame. If they would be strong and manly and good leaders, most women would very happily submit. But when men cry how unfair it is that for them there is compulsory military service and women can choose -why would any woman in her right mind respect men like that? It would make more sense if they wanted women out of army, so there would be one place where men can still feel men.

I am sick and tired with miserable little wimps who call themselves men and cry around internet how all women are slutty and jet they cannot get laid enough... Who fail to see that if you want respect, you have to earn it.

I am sorry Sanne about this rant, you obviously hit my nerve. :)

  4. Housewife, at least Finland has a strong army. Now, our soldiers (according to the news) have to shout pang-pang during military exercises because there is no money for ammo (but apparently enough to subsidise daycare:)

Anyway, yes, that's exactly the point I'm trying to make. Men are or should be the guardians of society and of the women. Yet nowadays they expect women to fight their battles for them.

  5. BTW, it will be really funny if Donald Trump gets elected. He already said Europe should pay its own defence. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth...

Well, Trump put that one well. :) I must admit that I am very happy that Finland still has strong army. Something good living next to Russia...

  7. Also some men will 'look after' the women in military and not be doing their own total work on the base or in warfare. Women are not as strong as men. Some may have passed rigorous testing but how many can and keep it up? I believe we are weakening our military by letting women in combat. Lets face it, times may be a changing but that does not mean it is for the good.
In every day life I see many men who at first started to climb the work ladder then when the wife started working they kicked back and stopped trying to advance. Why they have told me.. The wife's pay is enough now. Then they go out and buy the latest game system etc and spend any money they advanced by the wife working. Then play it night and day! While the wife works then comes home and works. I have seen it over and over in households. The incentive to work smarter and advance in work is lost as they are not the only one to earn the bacon any more. Many times the women advances above the man who stood still for so many years. Then again the trouble starts in the marriage.
It is wonderful how far advanced in our retirement we are and hubby did not make that much per hour working but worked many many years and tried to do the best he could at work. My being home. Doing my share to make that salary stretch and we felt we were doing just fine. We had money to save and our friends with double income have little savings as they spent much along the way. Now retired we are still doing well. We were never used to living above our income so it is natural to live as we always have. I wish others were as content in their later years as we are. Sarah

  8. The strength of Finland's army is a myth. Obviously they haven't knocked everything down yet, but comparing to the last war which we are so proud of, everything has changed: the world, people, society, warfare, inner threats...

  9. I think that a lot of it comes from the narcissism and insularity that many men (especially in the US) live under. There is going to be a really rough reality-check for these men if/when we come into conflict with a virile culture (i.e. Russia, China, Iran, North Korea) whose men don't like hiding behind women and despise other men who do.

  10. I don't know about US. Here, imo, it comes out of liberalism and hatred of the Western Christian tradition, especially its teachings on human sexuality. One would think that guys priding themselves on "being rational" would be motivated by higher ideals than muh d***.

Miriam, our army is strong compared to other western countries which trust that NATO will take care of their defence. Most finnish men still do the military service and there is equipment for all the "reserve crew".

When Sweden changed to professional army couple of years ago(which has not been a great success) some finnish war history Docent said they count in Finland in their defence. :)

    1. Oh yes, the Swedish Army has always fought to the last Finn, as the saying goes :-)

I was speaking of quantity vs. quality. The army in Finland hasn't had any real life experience in warfare in 70 years (which is a blessing of course) unlike Russia for example has had several opportunities in real life warfare to make progress in their tactics, leadership, weaponry etc.

Even though Finland has a lot of men in reserve in proportion to the population, the latest issue of 'Reserviläinen' said only 14 % of them are physically fit enough to fight.

It seems to me that 'The Triple S' is doing everything it can to take Finland to the happy Nato Camp.

Good points. I think we can agree that Finnish army is what it used to be. But still it is strong compared to other western Europe countries. And very many finnish men hunt and fish, which is a great advantage. And even US Marines come to Finland to learn winter military skills, so we cannot be that bad.

Men being not fit enough is a problem, but even the un-fit men usually do better than fit women. Men build up strength and stamina really quickly, when they have to.

  12. Housewife, never mind that military budgets are being slashed all over EU, we have gender equality instead. In France, girls have to register for draft. Future mothers of the nation will save us when the next war begins!

  13. When women are engaged in the military and go away for tours of duty; they can be away from their children for long periods of time. Speaking of periods- how does a woman survive in the military doing heavy duty, often with no washrooms and take care of her personal grooming? With men becoming so feminine; it's a wonder they don't get periods.

Oh my word. Why, why, why would any man want to breastfeed? Why in earth the mother cannot stay at home and breastfeed? And if the mother does not want to be with her baby, why she has children in the first place?
