This one has no monthly tasks, apparently; all housework is divided between the days of the week. It also suggests that laundry should be done once a week instead of a load every day (the American system):

Well, what do you think?
I have seen some other cleaners I follow rejecting the daily laundry. I think it depends on the size of the family. I will drown in laundry if I don't do 2 or 3 loads a day. But, I did recently put my daily laundry on a schedule (as in: dishtowels twice a week etc) to try to ensure that no one runs out of anything, and that is currently working well.
ReplyDeleteIt won't work for big families, I guess;) But for people with a couple of children it probably would. Also, people tend to forget that our washing cycles are quite long so it's not always convenient to run them every day.
ReplyDeleteBeing a Lady of Leisure and an empty-nester I enjoy all the time I have on hand. I loosely follow Fly Lady, and I have been watching Nikki clean for inspiration and entertainment. (Inspired by Nikki on YT)
ReplyDeleteAs to laundry I have never owned a dryer, so the problem was never washing but getting everything dry. I do laundry perhaps 3-5 loads a week.
I found out that in summer laundry dries really well outside and in winter I use central heating radiators. So I have no problem with trying to do it all on a certain day (usually Monday). Of course, sometimes one needs to do an extra load or two;)
