I dont know, Americas school system is so different from ours.
Here you can make pretty good money if you go to trade school and become blumper or "gable guy" or such. Young men have always understood that. (Young women go to nursing school and then whine about their dirty job and small salary.)
They make big headlines how universities are full of women and "women are more educated than men" nowadays. And forget to mention that in higher education, majority of STEM students (medicine excluded) are still men. Women go to uni to study some nonsense.
BTW we have free education here. So when I think of the high tuitions of American school, I do think it makes no sense to study there other than STEM -field. And if one is not smart enough for that, better get good-paying blue collar job.
I mean, it is the blue collar men (all still men, everywhere) who keep our societies running.
