R.I.P.

My mother-in-law died yesterday evening peacefully in her sleep. I'd like to thank everyone who prayed for us, and tell you how much I appreciate it. Faith is what gives you comfort and strength in times like this.

  1. So hard to say goodbye to a loved one. Yes, faith in life after death and a Savior who was resurrected so we can be too is what keeps us going.

  3. Dear Sanne

My condolences to you and your husband, to lose your mother is a bitter blow no matter what age you are.

  4. Thank you all for your kind words! Yes, it's hard to say good-bye, at any age. Someone told me that widows on average live 1.5 years after the husband's death, my own Granny was 2 years under depression treatment after my Grandfather's death, but she was younger and healthy, for my mother-in-law it unfortunately proved too much to bear...
