Actually it's nearly over, but for the last 3 or 4 days we've had some great weather which prevented me from spending much time behind computer. Plus, we've got a new family member:
Allow me to introduce, Finrod Felagund:)
We call him Finn, though. Here is he together with his new brother:
He isn't as refined and aristocratic but we still like him:)
Friday evening we spent by the seaside:
The water wasn't cold a bit, but we didn't go swimming, not this time. Sun, water and wind, what can be more beautiful?
The last one is for the more technically minded among you. My husband appears to really like it by some reason. I agree it is impressive:
Have a blessed Sunday, all of you!
We spent a week at the lake by our cottage. The first days the weather was always over 30 degrees and we spent a lot of the day in the water. Not much time left in the summer, but this time of the year is very beautiful. I noticed at church this morning that people are wearing bright beautiful summer colours - winter colours are much more subdued. Summer is too short!
ReplyDeleteI agree, especially in the climate such as ours!
ReplyDeleteI have actually enjoyed this cold summer we had here. I don't cope with heat very well. Now we have had some warmer days and dear God how awfully people dress. Even if one does not care about modesty, one would think that ladies wouldn't want to show ALL their fat and cellulite to everybody. People seem to go really crazy here when the weather gets warmer.
ReplyDeleteWe spent last week at our cottage and it was lovely. Nights are getting cooler, though.
I can cope with heat pretty well if the air is relatively dry, and that's exactly what we had the last couple of days. Now, unfortunately, it's raining again...The summer fashions here are lovely, I've never seen so many women in skirts and dresses as this summer, young and old.
ReplyDeleteYes, nights are getting cooler, but September and even October can still be quite beautiful over here.
A gorgeously cute little kitten. He is especially sweet in the second picture. And I love the name Finrod.
ReplyDeleteThanks! He is very funny, too:) Yes, I thought Finrod was a good name...
