We'll see what happens. It will be an interesting day. The thing is that whomever was running Biden has done some things that even Trump can't fix. Here is some comments from a column. I really hope we don't bomb Iran. A specific (((group of people))) has been peddling nonsense for years that Iran has nukes. https://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/5-historic-emergencies-that-trump-will-be-confronted-with-immediately-as-he-returns-to-the-white-house/
I expect Trump to be less bad on some things. At least he is pro-business and pro-energy production. I was not happy about the H1B stupidity from Elon and Vivek who need to get a damn clue. I'm doubtful about the DOGE aspect since Congress is a stumbling block and both parties are corrupt to the core and benefit from the abuses of the managerial state. Maybe some EOs can soften some of the nonsense, but some of this needs to be purged.
If Trump can't address the national debt issue with Congress, then it won't matter who won down the lines. I'd like to retire in the next 10 years if possible.
Russia has left the SWIFT payment system, so Trump can't fix that. Whatever dummies were under Biden were totally stupid to weaponize SWIFT and implement tariffs on Russia along with stealing their $300 billion Euro assets. I hope Trump can work out an amicable solution to the needless Ukraine stupidity.
I hope so! This administration can hardly be worse than the previous one, can it now?
Also Trump likes to troll which is probably why so many people have fits about him. And there is so much stuff being talked about online by all sorts of influencers that one doesn't know what to believe at times. So I've decided I'll judge him on his actions and not his words:) In any case, he has a nice family and isn't married to a girlboss.
Listening to his speech I thought he is promising too much for everyone who voted for him. He is not (yet?) like career politicians who speak the opposite they mean, but after the speech I felt uneasy. We'll see.

And he isn't a woman, either.

ReplyDeleteSome of it is performative politics, no doubt. But it's always been like this;)
