Feminism Fallout Continues

Restraining orders can now be issued against Christians who speak out online:

BARTLESVILLE, Oklahoma (LifeSiteNews) — A civil liberties group is accusing an Oklahoma judge of infringing on a Christian activist’s First Amendment rights with a restraining order they say is so broad as to prevent him from citing Bible verses against LGBT activism on social media...

...LGBT activists claimed they felt “threatened” by the content, and as a result, a Washington County judge has imposed on Penkoski a five-year “protective” order against conduct that could cause those activists to fear for their safety. Violations would be punished by up to a year in prison.

As one of the commenters pointed out,

This has been the manner wives have gone about getting restraining orders on their husbands. Literally, they just had to say they "feel afraid."

How many Christians cheerfully supported it back in the day by always taking the woman's side? How many still do now and blame the husband when anything goes wrong in marriage, I wonder...

Even Pagans Practised Debt Forgiveness

 This from VD:

Debt-Cancellation in Ancient Greece

Jesus said debts should be forgiven. So did the ancient Greeks, as Rev. Matt points out...

...Debt enforcement and the refusal to cancel fraudulent debts such as student loans is neither moral nor Christian. Precisely how is it “progress” for a modern society to be observably less moral and less forgiving than ancient pagan societies?

Why I Chiefly Use KJV

This shows how far the West has fallen as a civilization. In many ways, these two quotes tell us more about Western decay than any number of statistical graphs.

That's the way I generally feel about recent Bible translations. A new one appears every few years or so. The language we speak doesn't change entirely so much, but something else probably does. Now what could it be? No way it's  general IQ and education levels, though..:)

Are Western Elites Doing Unspeakably Evil Things?

No. Allegedly only some of them...

A federal judge in Virginia is fighting for full custody of his two young daughters after his high society ex-wife was arrested at a hotel where she allegedly planned to sexually assault an eight-year-old girl, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.

Please note that even in a case like that, the father has to fight for custody.

Eleanor Hunton Hoppe, 45, a member of one of Virginia's most prominent families, was snared in an FBI sting last month after messaging an undercover agent explicit and sickening details about what she wanted to do to the child, according to court filings.

Those are your betters, who keep scolding you about various -phobias, and -isms and climate change and whatever, you filthy peasant!

The mother-of-two – who has been charged with child porn and child sex abuse offenses – is also accused of sending the agent a 30-second video and three still images of young minor girls being horrifically sexually abused by men...

She had previously worked in child advocacy and support organizations and was a volunteer at her prestigious local Episcopal church in Charlottesville that is affiliated with the University of Virginia, DailyMail.com can reveal.

Makes one wonder about these organisations, doesn't it?

Hunton Hoppe is currently locked up in Washington DC and faces life behind bars if convicted of three federal crimes: Distributing child porn, enticement of a minor and attempted transportation of a minor with attempt to engage in sexual activity.

Should be, well, you know, after the due process in Minecraft...

The ex spouses had previously agreed to joint physical custody in May 2021 after a messy divorce battle – during which the magistrate judge accused his ex-wife of hunting for sex with other men and women

In court papers filed in Albemarle Circuit Court, Virginia, Joel, 46, further claimed that his ex had brought a sexual partner back to the marital home while their young daughters were there.

There should be punishments for (proven) adultery, as I have written before...

"Socialite mom". Sugar and spice and everything nice, eh? Victorian stereotypes about women were retarded. You will have to go read the whole article as the details it gives are too dirty for this blog.

Social Media Are Toxic

This is tragic. Please watch what your children are doing:

A 13-year-old boy died after participating in a viral TikTok challenge that involved consuming large quantities of Benadryl, an over-the-counter allergy medication...

In an interview with ABC6, Justin Stevens, the father of 13-year-old Jacob Stevens from Ohio, revealed that his son had died six days after attempting the challenge, which involves consuming enough of the medication to induce hallucinations.

Stevens said the 13-year-old was placed on a ventilator when he was transported to the hospital, but died six days later, on what he described as “the worst day of his life”...

Jacob’s father said his son was at home with friends when he decided to try the dangerous social media challenge. As his friends filmed, the 13-year-old’s body started seizing.

It happened at home so the boy was probably alone with his friends, no parents present. I don't know the exact circumstances of this family, the article doesn't even mention the boy's mother, only his father and his aunt, so may be he didn't have one, but it highlights something I have been always trying to point out.

Many women will stay home with their children when they are small, but go back to work once they are teenagers. And while every baby obviously needs his mother, it's not babies who organise drunken orgies and overdose on drugs while their parents work. The trend was already present in my time, it's only getting worse. Teenage years are dangerous years, and your children need you!

A Man Telling It Like It Is

I really liked a comment on this post by Will at Patriactionary left by a guy who called himself fitzhamilton (the post itself is very funny, btw:)

I can't figure if it's possible to link to it directly, so you'll have to follow the link above and then  scroll down to read it in its entirety, but here is a quote:

Men generally tend to the exception in at least one area, women to general mediocrity.

This is why women form collectivist hives, and men form meritocratic hierarchies. Women don’t belong in public life, they belong in the home and community doing the three things they far excel men at: taking care of children, their husbands and maintaining the hearth and intimate interpersonal relation vital to local community.

Wages Of Sin Are Death

In the case of feminism, it is death of the nation we are talking about:

April 7 (Reuters) - Births in Italy dropped to a new historic low below 400,000 in 2022, national statistics bureau ISTAT said on Friday, as the population continued to shrink...

Italy's dearth of babies is considered a national emergency, and fixing the problem was a prominent policy pledge by Giorgia Meloni ahead of last year's election which saw her become the country's first woman prime minister.

The woman herself has exactly 1 child, with her "partner", btw. She would have served her country much better had she married some decent guy and had 6.

Last year Italy recorded more than 12 deaths for every seven births and the resident population fell by 179,000 to 58.85 million, ISTAT said in its annual demographic report.

The population decline slowed somewhat compared with 2021 and 2020, two years heavily affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

It's interesting that their population declined while, from what I heard, other countries such as the USA  had a mini baby boom, presumably because many women were forced to work from home.

( It could be probably explained by older people dying from corona and emigration of healthy young people in search for work, after all

In its latest report, ISTAT said one in four people in Italy is above the age of 65, while the number of centenarians has tripled to 22,000 over the last 20 years.)

So a logical thing to do to increase a country's fertility would be to persuade more women to stay home and even be a housewife, right? Wrong!

The trend was partly offset by immigration, with immigrants exceeding emigrants by 229,000 last year compared with a net inflow of 160,000 in 2021. Foreigners made up 8.6% of the country's population in 2022, for a total of 5.05 million.

I'm sure all these immigrants will make up for the loss of the native population, though. As long as they are legal, am I right? That's the "conservative" slogan which Ms Meloni adopted, it's OK to be replaced by foreigners in your own country as long as it's done legally.

"A major factor is the reduction and the ageing of the female population in the 15-49 age group conventionally considered reproductive," the institute said in a note.

Fine to know that I'm still technically of a reproductive age, lol!

ISTAT predicted in September that Italy could lose almost a fifth of its residents, with the population set to decline, under a baseline scenario, to 54.2 million in 2050 and 47.7 million in 2070.

Well, honestly, I don't know, may be they don't need so many people. All Western European countries are quite overpopulated. What makes it a real problem, is population replacement through immigration, legal and illegal. It's noteworthy, however, that since we got everyone emancipated and started giving birth control pills like candy to all the girls starting at 15, we need to bribe women to get kids like in France and Germany and even then it's mostly non-Europeans who choose to profit from it.

I read recently that my country has "the lowest teenage pregnancy rate" compared to some other countries, is it really something to celebrate? As you saw above, 15 is considered to be "of reproductive age". While 15 is rather low (here the age of consent is 16 but it's 14 in Italy) a female of 18 or 19 is still technically "in her teens" and that's exactly when you are the most fertile, not when you are 48 or 49.

Girls of that age are encouraged to have s8x, btw, just as long as they don't become mothers, as their 20s are supposedly "for fun", "finding herself", traveling, and don't forget, the holiest of all cows, education and career.

The end results of this experiment remain to be seen...

Should Christians Be Always Nice?

 Let's find out!

I remember reading "Mere Christianity" by C.S. Lewis. It had a chapter called "Nice People Or New Men?" which argued that Christianity is not about "niceness" but rather about being born again in Christ Jesus. Or at least, that is the way I remember it.

How often have you heard, "if Christians only were nicer,"  "if they weren't so judgemental," "if they didn't criticise lifestyle X and Y so much", in other words, if only they showed more tolerance to sin then people surely would start coming to church again!

If only it were true. In fact, it's exactly vice versa. Churches in the West go out of their way to be nice and inclusive, they preach fuzzy sermons about "love", they change hundred years old liturgy, they hardly ever mention sin any more, and the result of all this is that they are getting emptier than ever and that the whole of Western society is in the state of apostasy.

Is there something we don't know? Shouldn't Christians be kind and loving? Well, I guess it all started in the Victorian times (as usual:). There is a Victorian proverb which says, "it's better to be kind than to be right." But, is it really kindness if you sacrifice truth (being right) for the sake of not hurting feelings? Because that's what being nice is really all about: not hurting feelings.

Love in the Biblical sense is different. It's not so much about feelings, but rather about doing what is right and wishing your neighbour's well-being even if it sometimes means rebuking him.

I found a very good article on this topic, called paradoxically :

They Will Know Us By Our Love (and Hate Us For It):

The first is that the love which we are to show comes from God rather than from the world. We are to love as Christ loved us. Now the world certainly noticed the love of Christ, but it also executed him for it. The love of Jesus is not found in this world’s mealy-mouthed platitudes about niceness and sentimentalism. Rather, it is a perfect and uncompromising love which relentlessly pursues the true, objective good of the beloved no matter how much it must defy this world and its prince–all at the cost of his own life. Jesus’ love is one that overturned tables, defied merely cultural expectations, offended the state, and provoked the ire of false religion. It demands attention because it is different than the world’s faulty ideas of love.

What Are My Neighbours Up To?

Enough with the USA politics, let's look at what is happening around here:) The French are having some very impressive protests. Yesterday they actually stormed BlackRock headquarters in Paris:

France faces another wave of widespread protests and strikes following an unproductive discussion between the prime minister and labor unions. The failure to reach a compromise on the unpopular pension reform, which extends the working years for individuals, has fueled two-and-a-half months of public discontent.

Notice that they've been at it for 2.5 months already and show no sign of slowing down:

We noted early that pension protestors in France were gathered outside of BlackRock's Paris headquarters. The protestors have now stormed the building.

The building was taken over by the railway workers, presumably led by their trade unions. In France, they still have the remnants of the traditional (non-woke) worker's rights Left and their organising skills are most admirable.

OFF TOPIC: Last, but not least, it is Good Friday today! Somehow my religious posts don't draw that much attention, so I'll just leave it over here:

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Why Conservatives Don't Achieve Much

 Exhibit number...whatever

Matt Walsh has been on fire lately. I have actually come to respect him very much as he appears to be a man of principle (and a good role model, too, a married father of 6 with a stay-at-home wife).

He has a suggestion on fighting the culture war:

Here's what we should do: Pick a victim, gang up on it, and make an example of it. We can't boycott every woke company or even most of them. But we can pick one, it hardly matters which, and target it with a ruthless boycott campaign. Claim one scalp then move onto the next.

The problem is that many conservatives don't have the stomach or attention span for this. And our political "leaders" are almost completely useless. There is a way to win real victories. We just need a little grit and a little follow through.

He then gets these replies to his 2nd tweet:

Another big issue is that a lot of Republicans aren't perpetually online. They don't live on social media. Most Democrats live their lives on social media. They can be easily reached, organized and push hashtags. A huge portion of Republicans are on their boats, hunting, fishing, working on their cars, etc. It's just not as easy to mobilize Republicans as it is Democrats.

Matt, You are missing one key difference with the non-left. We are all massive individualists. It is like herding cats. The left is like sheep, all it takes is one Shepard. We are like the chiefs of Gaul, we may band together briefly, but eventually Caesar will have his due.

The 1st reply looks like a meme criticising Boomers. You know, the one where they would rather chill and grill while their country is burning around them. The other one presents a famous right wing trope about "rugged individualism". Well, how does it work for you? One side is fanatical about winning, while the other one promotes egoism as its highest value.

Some "conservatives" even replied that "the market should sort it out". In other words, if there are customers for sin and degenerate behaviour, so be it? It's all OK because muh free market? Market is about trade, not about morals and in a healthy Christian society it would never be up to some merchant to determine what the country's values are.

I should add that it's by no means only American right which exhibits such loser traits as it's hardly different in other countries. While the lefties all support each other, the right parties and movements have lots of infighting and tend to fall apart quickly.  Because egoism is a vice, not a virtue.

Humiliation Ritual

 Ben Shapiro is very right:

Our elite don't really think some men are women. It's about forcing ritual obeisance. The more ritual obeisance they demand, the more you comply, the more they can trust your fealty. This is why their rituals grow increasingly arcane and their demands ever more arduous.

Are Many American Women Psychotic?

I mean how is this behaviour even normal? I have frankly never seen anyone react this way in a clear daylight (after dark would be another story). WT* is wrong with her? How is she even able to function daily without a nervous breakdown?

On Hating Evil

An interesting article by Andrew Torba from Gab:

Christians Must Learn To Hate Evil Again

When we hate evil we are not allowing it to have a foothold in our lives. We are not tolerating it or excusing it, but instead, we are actively fighting against it. We are standing up for what is right and what is just, even when it is difficult. When we hate evil we are acknowledging the reality of the brokenness of our world. We recognize that sin and evil do exist and that they cause pain and suffering. But we also know that God has overcome sin and evil through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

We should look to the example of Jesus Himself, who drove out the money changers from the temple with a whip (John 2:15). He did not tolerate their wickedness and corruption but took action to remove it from the house of God.
