  1. I love this. I'm 55 and just within the past year I've read the Hobbit and am 2/3 through LOTR. My children convinced me to read it! This is nothing I would've read on my own
.and now my ringtone even Concerning Hobbits!
I wanted to add I truly liked when you would share some of your outfits with us and you haven't done that for quite some time.
    Have a blessed day.

  2. My Granny first read ''The Hobbit" to me when i was like 6 or 7 years old, and I have loved it ever since! it's so much better than the horrible movies with diversity and girlboss Tauriel or whatever the heck she is called, lol. LOTR movies are OK though, and the latest Amazon abomination, the less is said about it the better;)

This trend is mostly young people but I guess Hobbits come at any age, and Bilbo was like in his 50s when his adventures started so I don't think anyone is too old for it.

About outfits, I guess I just got too lazy to upload pictures, but I have some recent photos posted from a zoo, you'll see them if you scroll down. I will try and make a week of feminine outfits or something. I also need to get a valid email address because the one on this page doesn't work any more (I think). There have just been so many things occupying my mind lately that I don't always have energy for all this.

    Many blessings:)

  3. P.S. There is a shortened version of The Hobbit movie, where they cut out all the stuff invented by Jackson. Just saying;)

  5. It's neat that their are people out there who can still put in the time and effort to craft this kind of stuff. My mom sewed me a Western shirt or two when I was younger and even made a Robin (Batman's sidekick) costume when I was little for Halloween.

  6. Rose, I honestly don't know, VD shared the links long ago on his blog. There are actually 2 short versions, one is about 4 hours long, the other one 3 smth and is considered better. I think you could probably find them if you looked around/googled, they must be available still.

  7. Texan, how nice! I actually used to do crafts until I got a smartphone (sigh). it's nice that not all is lost with the younger generations, isn't it?

  9. It is wonderful to see that those in the video did not need to wait until they are in their 50's to realize life is way too short not to dress how they want to. I unashamedly embrace my medieval inspired ''style'', :-D
