I agree with Mark Moncrieff. It's basically a long slow, humiliation backed by his supposed allies as well. Biden has the guts to do it, but the Republicans are in on this as well.
I don't think he will go to jail, but he might. I think he's too old to be elected POTUS, that we need to drop all these Boomers off to be grandparents, but he has enough popular support to make a lot of people uncomfortable. As a result, there is a huge push underway to make sure that he is truly unelectable, lest a fluke accident happen again such as what happened in 2016.
One thing I don't get is why Trump elicits such reaction in both his supporters and his enemies. The progs are throwing hissy fits every time his name is mentioned while Boomer conservatives have built a whole cult around his persona complete with fan fiction about him secretly slaying his enemies with the help of some sort of star chamber tribunals. It's really bizarre...
