People Losing Their Minds

So it's official. Since tomorrow evening we are all under house arrest curfew to fight coronavirus. Because like vampire it usually strikes at night, I guess. Last time this measure was used by the invader during the WWII. Judging by the comments on  most sites, an average citizen is just about as happy now as he (it, they) was then.

Now I'm not going to fedpost on this blog, as you well understand, but it sure does give credit to various conspiracy theories. I still think there is a better explanation. Many people simply refuse to realise that Western governments consisting chiefly of nerds, women and deviants are getting progressively more incompetent and resort to draconian measures to conceal it. Take vaccination campaign, for instance: we are nearly on the last place, just slightly better than Bulgaria, which is last.

In the meanwhile, Turkey already vaccinated more than 1 mln people. Makes you wonder, doesn't it?

Truth is, corona is dangerous, and its case fatality rate is on the higher side (quite comparable to smallpox, btw). The difference is that 50% of smallpox victims were babies under 6 months, while 50% of corona victims in my country are nursing home inhabitants with an average life expectancy of 2-3 years. The question then arises, is it really fair to destabilise society to keep them alive?

In the beginning I was pro-lockdown, because we  didn't know anything about the virus, but after 10 months my patience is really wearing thin and I know I'm not the only one. Yet, when you read some reactions online (I wonder whether they are bots or just so autistic) and learn about young healthy 30+ ers hiding in their own homes since March and hardly daring to visit their own parents, you start wondering about mental health of our society. Of course these are all bureaucrats/ office workers. Am I glad my husband works a normal job...

On the other hand (yes, I'm still trying to be fair) you have people who will deny the virus exists or that it's at all dangerous or talk about Great Reset. Well, as I have mentioned before, I don't know about Great Reset but I know about incompetence when I see it.

Somewhere during the last 100 years the lords of lies the powers that be had arrogance to decide that they could  control Nature and discard old taboos. Something tells me it may not end exactly in the manner they thought it would. Pride goes before the Fall, as they say.

  1. So what happened to the flu? Doesn't that kill many people some years. Anyway, the lock downs are moronic and were designed to kill the economy. Fauci is a deviant fraud who said early on that the mask don't work but then decided they were great. The science says the masks are garbage for protecting against a virus, at least the way they are being used. It's a feel good op for mid-wits.

If offed some leftist, then society is better for it. Funny that we know that obesity after old age is a big factor in death, but the government won't tell people to lose some weight and stop following the food pyramid. Diabetes is another critical factor, but people won't do what is needed.

I'm not saying people are not suffering, but the level of stupid here is amazing. How many people were killed because they were afraid of going to a hospital or could not get a medical procedure or checkup?

  2. Quite predictably, new measures led to riots and even more polarisation. I fear for our future, honestly. In other European countries except Sweden is even worse, btw. Just read that in France it's now forbidden to talk in public transportation. The problem is that those "elderly and fragile" are quite a big voting block, we have elections coming soon plus the enormous pressure from Germany and (I think) France.

Yes, most of them are useful idiots, but a few of them aren't.

I have found it somewhat interesting that millennials who could hardly be bothered to see about their elderly parents to begin with are now able to wear that tendency as a sign of virtue.

    We have lost our minds.
