We are in the middle of a heat wave right now. My computer is upstairs (it's a notebook but it's hooked to the printer and things) and I have no airco in my bedroom, so it's pretty uninhabitable during the day, and in the mornings and evenings I have other things to do, hence the lack of posting. I'll try to update tomorrow though.

A suggestion about the laptop/notebook: see if you can find a laptop cooling pad for it with a really big fan, such as a 200 millimetre fan or even bigger.
ReplyDeleteIt makes a huge difference when the ambient temperature in an upstairs room is around 45 to 50 C. Some of these laptop coolers also come with a USB 3.0 hub, although I've had hit-or-miss luck with drivers.
My laptop back then only survived as long as it did because of a really big fan cooler pad for it.
Thanks! It doesn't produce much heat. But I don't function well in constant 30+:) Luckily it's not 45*C!
