A New Blog Added

Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to present:

That Stepford Gal

In her latest post, she kindly mentions my post about feminine hobbies and connects their disappearance to women taking more prescription drugs. I'd like to add that's more true than people realise since science proves that crafting is good for your brain (as is playing a musical instrument, another traditional feminine pastime).

BTW, did you know that ladies and gentlemen isn't really about putting ladies first, since it's an abbreviation of my lords, ladies and gentlemen ?

    Thanks, nice link. :)

I just started to knit wool socks. i had to make the heel three times before I got it right. I thought I remembered how it is done but -well, i did not. :)

  3. I recall when there was a space for your hobbies on medical forms! If you did not list a hobbynthe doctors insisted women get an interest like thst!

I hesitate to mention this since many christian find yoga idol worship, but kundalini yoga really teaches you to embrace your femininity. It has helped me enormously, since I struggle with femininity in regular basis. :) It also does wonders with your waistline. ;)

  6. Belly dancing appears to be quite good, too.

I like belly dancing, too. But not the outfits, I have never been comfortable with them. In kundalini yoga, the teatchers wear usually very simple white outfits like in these examples:

It helps me to remember that very simple and modest outfits can also be very feminine and even highlight one's natural beauty and femininity.

I know, my fashion opinions are straight from nunnery. :)

I do think that belly dancing costumes can look stunning on other ladies. But even when I was young and scantily dressed, I never felt comfortable in those.
