Kraut Salad For Warm Weather



This is my version of a recipe from Rezepte vom Land. 

I used:

1 pkg (300g) oxheart cabbage, shredded
100ml white vinegar
3 TBSP honey mustard
1 TBSP sunflower oil
salt and pepper to taste
1 TBSP brown sugar
several potatoes, cooked and sliced
1 liverwurst, sliced (200g)
a bunch of radishes, sliced
some lettuce
dried parsley to taste

Mix the cabbage with vinegar, mustard and oil and knead a bit, like you would do with dough. Add salt, pepper and sugar and let stay in the fridge for the min. of 1 hour (better longer). Then add the rest of the ingredients plus additional salt and pepper to taste, mix well. Serve as a main dish with bread or as side dish. As a side dish will feed 4, otherwise 2-3.
