I eat fish/s...I'm not ideologically vegetarian. I eat fish/seafood 3 times a week and chicken sometimes. Heck, 2 weeks ago I ate some Chinese with pork in it:) Though I discovered I don't really miss or even like red meat any more. However, if necessary, I'd eat it. I just don't want to eat it regularly, and I do miss meatballs:)<br /><br />I think many people who switch to this diet just don't get enough protein and fat (though less fat is seen as advantage, you still need some). You can't just exclude a whole food group and expect to get all the nutrition you need from broccoli.<br /><br />The "meatballs" above provide fat (butter, olive oil) animal and plant protein (egg, cheese, oats) and vitamins like b12 and zinc so they are nutritionally adequate, more or less. <br /><br />BTW, I'm not trying to convert anyone to vegetarianism, but if someone is interested, this recipe is quite good.
