Yes! My home state, Tennessee, voted overwhelming for Mr. Trump. And our prayers are for a successful administration that earns our nation's and the world's respect.
overwhelmingly. :) And he will have something of a challenge as there is a segment of the population and the Congress that refuses to acknowledge the legitimacy of his election. Today, for example, there is some kind of ridiculous women's march on Washington. One of the goals, the website says, is to promote women's safety in the face of increasing "violence against our bodies".
That is to say (I'm not sure whether it was good English) that some people aren't really good sports and can't accept defeat. Give the man a chance to show himself, for good or bad, then you can protest; but protesting the fact that someone was elected who you dislike is frankly, well, you know...
I live in the state of Tennessee also and I think most of us are just saying daily prayers for the new administration. Protesting in my opinion is just a result of the difficult living situations many people are finding themselves in. They have to get angry about something. Women would be better served to go home and become more frugal and self-sufficient than marching around in the streets. Loving, stable homes will do more than any President could ever do. Thank you for taking the time to honor our election.
Susan, you are welcome! Unfortunately, modern state is detrimental to family health as it promotes and encourages easy divorce, unwed motherhood, alternative lifestyles and full employment for married women.
I feel sorry for Mrs. Trump. On that Women's March there was placards saying "Melania, if you need help, blink twice". Feminists mock her so hard an liberals who tolerate everything seem to find it very hard to tolerate Slav woman who doesn't smile all the thime like Great White Shark, which is what american women seem to be doing. Oh and she is so un-educated, speaks only five languages when Michelle spoke english...

I think the overriding reason most women went to Washington was the abortion issue. Women know Trump is pro life. Many of these women (Madonna for example) were ridiculous and nasty.
I have been thinking along the lines of federal spending cuts on various government agencies. Like everywhere, they probably employ a lot of women which means they soon could be out of work. There is also a lot of negative propaganda in MSM. For instance, here they were hyping about how expensive his security will cost while forgetting to say that protecting Pres.Obama cost just as much.
